Our first time here, and Lilly provided excellent service. Portions were enormous and well worth the price. Establishment is kept very clean. Atmosphere is welcoming whether you're bringing your family or a date. Cuisine is American Italian. We took advantage of the amazing happy hour choices, and we will be returning.

First time at this neighborhood gem… Tons of Frank Sinatra on the radio right now, the booths are super romantic and cozy. Was hosted and served by Theresa, the namesake of the polenta dish. Next time I’m coming back for that polenta dish! Today we had the crispy artichokes that were crisped so finely and light, served with ranch. Then we had that Pasta… The Arrabbiata spicy sauce was just out of this world, tons of garlic. They even have a poster that says “ if you don’t like garlic, you go home.” 😂 loved everything. Theresa gave us the arrabbiata sauce on the side and was so helpful. We had a great experience and so happy this place is right in the neighborhood! Will definitely be coming back for all the chewy, crispy, fresh pizza and the pastas. The tiramisu was lovely and hit the spot, the lady fingers not so over soaked and the mascarpone topping was just lightly sweet. Thank you!! Will be coming back!

Had the baked spaghetti with a meatball on the side. Absolutely delicious! The sauce was spot on and the homemade baseball sized meatball was so good! My friend had pizza and loved it.. Definitely worth the trip. Staff was friendly, practiced distance and the restaurant was set up for best practices for the pandemic.

Absolutely incredible food! My family and I went here last night for the first time and I was blown away by the food. The atmosphere is laid back and the owners are incredibly kind. This is the kind of place where they treat you like family from the moment you step in the door. I had the Polenta di Theresa, my partner had the pesto basil dish, and my mom had the lasagna. I honestly can't think of a time I've had better Italian food than right here, and the cost was so much more affordable than other Italian restaurants. This is definitely going to be a new regular spot for us! This homemade cannoli was to die for

Absolutely love the food here! It’s rare when you can find Homemade pasta and sauce! Customer service was amazing and our server was very attentive & charming! Prices are market value for area and I would love to return to try more dishes! My daughter was so proud of her menu she got to create on her own and take home!

Classic Italian theme date or family night restaurant. Central location and fun vibe. Pro: home made pasta and sauces. Con: expect to wait 10-15 mins even with a reservation, although waiting area has plenty of room to take a seat and grab a glass of wine.

Great neighborhood restaurant that has stood the test of time and discriminating pallets. Gluten free options are seamlessly integrated...an extreme rarity for Italian fare. Great desserts that compete with the busy ice cream place down the street. We splurged with excellent appetizers and wine but the entrees are very reasonably priced.

Excellent down home Italian.. Brought my fiance here on her first visit to Colorado. Read about how this restaurant will be closing in the near future so I figured we ought to try it whilst we can. We were quite happy with our decision. Will definitely have to be through just myself a time or two before they go!

So sad that this was their final business day. The food was fresh and obviously made on site. It will certainly be missed

Finally a good Italian restaurant in Denver!! We had an outstanding experience at the Saucy Noodle. My husband and I dined here with my in laws, and collectively ordered the baked spaghetti with a meatball, the broccoli mac and cheese, a pizza and a Caesar salad. The baked spaghetti with tomato cream sauce was absolutely delicious, and the meatball tasted the way my Sicilian grandmother used to make them. My mother in law said the Caesar salad was the best dressing she had ever had in her life, and she has had quite a few Caesar salads over the years. The pizza was excellent with fresh ingredients, and the broccoli mac and cheese was a grown up treat with a complex sauce that was delectable. In addition to the food quality, the staff was friendly and helpful. Treated us like family. The atmosphere was comfortable and they had great music playing, as well. Overall it was a wonderful family gathering. We’ll be back! Bring your appetite!

Friendly service and good basic Italian food. They are supposedly known for their red sauce, which was good, but I can't say that it was anything special.

This is our absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Denver! I suggest anything with their red sauce - my go-to is the chicken parmigiana. Delicious. Also the cheese bread appetizer. Their house salad with the homemade Gorgonzola dressing is the perfect starter.

I've been going to the Saucy Noodle off-and-on for 30+ years and really enjoy their food! The sauce and their meatballs are delicious. Went there last night and walked away a little disappointed in a few things. Ordered a side of the homemade linguini and the pasta was a bit dry and chewy; seemed like it had been sitting out of water for a period. My daughter's meal was luke warm on arrival. They did fix it. And, I'm bummed that side salads no longer are included with meals. Had to order a salad for an extra $8. Also, I don't consider myself a wine expert, but I do enjoy it with Italian food and perhaps this is a little picky, but my glass of wine was served in a small tumbler, not a proper wine glass. Disappointing things for the price paid and the Saucy's longtime reputation and my accompanying expectations.

Good food and atmosphere. The sign out front says it best. " If You Don't Like Garlic, Go Home"

I absolutely love this place. I didn't review it the first time because I was so stunned by the taste of an old fashioned recipe. Everything was so perfectly cooked to amazing flavor coming from the baked lasagna. The meats and spices mixed into the ricotta cheese 🧀
