Went recently after watching Gordon Ramsay and Pete was super funny and nice to talk to, he cracked a lot of jokes and was really sweet when we were leaving. He’s a pretty cool guy. Also, pizza wasn’t bad! However the dining room is closed.

The myth, the legend, the beast. I've been in Denver nearly all my life and finally got to meet Pete. He is a prideful, opinionated man, who's been around at this restaurant for about four decades. I mentioned seeing him on television and he immediately cut me off, denouncing Ramsay. And yet both his website and business cards mention how his restaurant was influenced by that Michelin Star chef. To be fair - Ramsay was pretty harsh on Pete, and 66 of 82 restaurants on Kitchen Nightmares have vanished. Whatever the case, the pizza was decent. The best? I don't know. I'm pretty snobby with my preference on fancy, wood-fired pizzas that are served in small portions at dumb prices, these days. If I were still a 90s kid where I could munch on cold slices while playing playing my N64, this would be a God-tier pizza. The sauce is dark, thick, and slightly sweet. The crust is about as good as it gets for an electric oven. The toppings are of decent quality. If I downed a 32 oz. portion of Hi-C, laden with corn syrup, and ate this pizza with it, I'd feel like a kid again. If I were still a 90s kid, I'd listen to all of Pete's stories while not really paying attention to any of it. I'd be too busy pouring an entire shaker of black pepper into a cup of soda and daring my brother to drink it. Maybe these days it's not really my preferred style of pizza, but there was a level of nostalgia that couldn't be ignored. I've been in Denver for over thirty years and never been to the place until today. And yet.. it somehow felt like I've known and been to the place my entire life. I'm not sure if I'll be back to get this pizza again - but I'm glad, at the very least, that I got to meet a guy who's been around for a long while. Pete, you're a riot. Don't change a thing about yourself.

I came from Australia to visit the U.S. I had to stop at this place after watching Kitchen Nightmares. Pete is a genuine bloke that works extremely hard. Please don't believe the nonsense on Kitchen Nightmares. We got the feast pizza and it was FANTASTIC. The crust and base was spot on. The ingredients tasted fresh and overall, it was DEFINITELY one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. If we had more time we would have spoken with Pete for as long as he gets sick of it. He had so many wonderful stories that you could listen to forever. Every time I come to Denver, I WILL visit Pantaleones and stop by to check on Pete whilst enjoying Denver's best pizza. Thanks again Pete! Overall: Amazing pizza, good value and perfect customer service. *Side note. Unfortunately there's no option to dine in. If you're a well mannered person, there might be an option to sit and eat at the restaurant.

This was REALLY good pizza. The owner was very friendly, and we had a long conversation with him. He is really nice, the pizza is really good, and I would love to come here again sometime. This truly is the best pizza in Denver.

If you’re in the search for the best Denver style pizza around, you have to try this pizza. It’s absolutely on top. Denver style is a thing hear ye hear ye! Officially declared right here! Not too many people do it. Most try and copy some other city’s style pizza. Stop that. You’re in Denver now. I feel like All pizza is best straight out of the oven so if you get it to go and have a long way to go, have a slice in the car! No one will notice once they get a slice at the house. What you’ll notice is that it’s gone! Better get another!

Friend in Asia that used to live in Denver recommended the place. Another friend and I drove across town to check it out. Was worth it! Best pizza in Denver. Family run place. Unfortunately only takeout and delivery these days, but if you are looking for that I wouldn’t look any further.

This is the most true hearted Mediterranean Italian Style pizza ever. To top it off, it’s family owned with true love and tradition. Italians and Greeks are the best! ;) Pete is so humble! Def my go to pizza joint!

First time ordering after watching “Kitchen Nightmares”. Good pizza pies, tasty and the sausages and sauce on pizza are really good!

This place has the best pizza. The crust is so soft and the cheese blends with the crust so well. The ingredients are all fresh so it’s not like your usual greasy pizza. Pete was very welcoming and whipped up a large pizza for us in less than 20 minutes. This place is my new go to! Thank you again

That was the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve had many different restaurant pizzas and this one so far tops them all

I am a truck driver and have had a lot of pizzas from all over the USA and I just have to say Pantaleone's has some of the best pizza I have had ever, I got the sausage pizza, the side of meatballs, and side of sausage, the pizza had the perfect sauce to cheese to toppings ratio and it was even great slightly warm since it did take a little bit to deliver due to uber eats. The sausage pizza was perfect, the side of meatballs where absolutely amazing and delicious and so was the side order of sausage. I'm going to be honest after watching the kitchen nightmares I was a bit skeptical but after reading the other reviews I decided to try it and I loved it. Next time I'm in Colorado I'm for sure stopping by and ordering again 100/10 in my opinion I highly recommend trying Pantaleone's

We stopped in last night after I looked up “best pizza near me”… my Daughter recognized Mr. Pete right away and a delightful conversation was had when he told us who he was. We came home and ate our awesome pizza while we watched the Kitchen Nightmares episode again. The pizzas were delicious and just right! Bonus plus for the personal career guidance he gave to my Daughter about colleges and “money making” majors!

I am honestly surprised the food at this establishment isn't considered a controlled substance - it is ADDICTIVE. The dough on the pizza? Heaven. The sauce? Perfection. The cheese? Exceptional. The staff? Top tier. Genuinely don't know how this palace of pizza pleasure is not the busiest, most in demand pizzeria in Colorado. Truly cannot recommend enough.

Easily the best pizza in Denver. Pantaleone’s is our go to pizza place in Denver for dinner just the two of us and for group gatherings. Quality is 100% every time. On top of phenomenal pizza, the owner is incredible and a great conversation. 10/10 recommended!
