While waiting for my pizza at Blue Pan across the street I went to try some ice cream. I decided on a pint of Mexican Chocolate. It is creamy and delicious. It could use some chili powder or more cinnamon for a bit more spice but it is good nonetheless. Definitely worth a stop to at least try one of their yummy sounding flavors.
Found this ice cream shop after we visited the Zoo. Pleased with the quality of the unique flavors available. I highly recommend you try Sweet Cooie's!
Excellent service and good vibes! The ambiance and lighting inside the store was quite nice.
I wish we could’ve seen the ice cream on display while we were ordering though. Also, the salted caramel was way too salty. I believe they serve Little Man ice cream.
I would definitely go back here!
It was a charming shop! Ice cream is average, but I ordered regular chocolate, a land strawberry.
So much fun and their ice cream sandwiches (gooey cooie's) are rated #7 nationally. We stopped by here with kids and grandparents after visiting the Denver museum of history and science. It was so cute inside and it was a perfect way to end the afternoon. I posted photos and now all of our family members want to try it! Flavors can be odd, so definitely ask for samples. I ended up with a vegan horchata ice cream because it was the best tasting! My dad had salted oreo and we all agreed we wouldn't do that flavor again. My husband had both lemon lavender poppy and blackberry pineapple sorbet. They also have standard chocolate and vanilla flavors for the kids. An assortment of standard, sugar and waffle cones are available. It was a home run for both the foodies and the kiddos. Free small cookies and lemon water. Fantastic place!
Fun, new place to go for ice cream. Not great parking, had to go into a residential area to park and walk there. Still not bad. Really cute interior. Feel bad for the employees that they have to wear ridiculous outfits, but it flows with the look of the store (I guess).
Only thing was their counter is huge and there is not much room to move around for guests when in line. Also, not much seating. Looked like there is more outside but better for the summer. They had good flavors of ice cream, but not too much to chose from. Also sell chocolate truffles and candies.
Great new ice cream shop. 10 classic flavors. Sorbet and vegan options. Also serves taffy and cute chocolates. It’s a nice place for families or a date. Plenty of seating inside on cute turquoise booths and outdoor patio chairs with umbrellas and sparkly lights. Easy parking. More upscale than Bonnie Brae’s and on a quieter street. And just better than Nuggs...sorry Nuggs.
Part of the “little man” ice creameries, Sweet Cooie’s is an omage to the owner’s mother. Her photographs adorn the entry, and the shop is decorated in her style. The staff are friendly and cherry, hosing bingo night for a small crowd on Wednesday. The ice cream ha s a mix of staples (vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate chip) and unique flavors (tea and crumpet), each catering to their own audience. I recommend stopping by after checking out other eateries for dinner.
Have gotten ice cream here 1,000,000 times and will come back 1,000,000 more. SUCH good ice cream, great non dairy vegan options for my new diet, and the atmosphere is to dieeeeeeeee for. The CUTEST. My kiddo loves it here, and loves getting some extra to go treats for the road. The staff is always super patient with my son and his questions and topping additions.
Treat yourself and stop in here. You’ll be transported back in time for a super memorable treat.
First time here, enjoyed rich, savory vegan ice cream. There were five flavors for vegan, and more for regular. The place is also stocked with chocolate treats and candy. They also have sorbet and sweet dipped waffle cones. Parking is along the busy street neighborhood. Will return!

So delightful and delicious! This retro style ice cream Shoppe welcomes you with the smell of freshly made waffle cones, impeccable customer service and savory, sweet or fruity ice cream. High quality ice cream in the house here. The service made the experience so memorable. A great vegan and sorbet line up in addition to regular flavors.
I had to ask young man behind the counter 3 times to describe the special flavor ice cream, he couldn't, so my companion, losing patience, said just give her a sample already. My question was whether or not it was vanilla based, which I asked, but that wasn't in the attendants' wheelhouse of descriptors.
Aside from that, Sweet Cooie's is good, making sundaes, shakes, various ways to serve ice cream such as in a cup, cake cone, waffle cone or chocolate dipped waffle cone.
This is hands down my favorite ice cream/confectionery combo. You can’t go wrong with anything at all here.
One ofnthe most caring and kindest staff I always come across. This is our third time to Cooie's and never dissapointed. From the flavorful ice-creams (though not a wide variety) to amazing staff. Highly recommended 👌🏽
the ice cream is great but what is special are the baked goods. whoever makes the cookies that are in the ice cream is special. same thing goes for the brownies.
First time in this evening, the vegan salted chocolate Oreo was honestly amazing! Will be back for that specifically.
I had the vegan hot cocoa in a vegan sugar cone. My boyfriend had the vegan chocolate salted oreo. We both thoroughly enjoyed ours and it was nice to have vegan options to choose from. The ambiance was really cute. We ate at the outside table. The employee wore a mask.
Excellent old style ice cream parlor! Great ice cream!..🍦🤩
The shop has great character, free samples, great flavors and friendly staff. Get the gooey cooie you won't be disappointed. They had a great ice cream selection. Scoops of ice cream we're larger than expected and definitely worth waiting in line! We will definitely be back! Really great place, in the summer they have pajama parties on Sunday evenings. really charming place and great place.
