Okay, so ! My husband and our friend decided we are coming here today for lunch. They haven't been here in 20 years they say. I'm thinking of some fAncy new place...we walk in...and the place is popping. Super friendly staff, super cool place. Great food. We had tostadas, burger, and smothered burrito plus chips and salsa and queso. I'm definitely coming back!

I really like this place! It has a nice vibe! I am just a little disappointed in the communication. I ordered a cheap cheese enchilada for around four dollars and asked for a side of sour cream and a side of lettuce and tomato. The sides combined were over seven dollars. If I would’ve known that I would not have gotten the sides because that is silly. I mentioned to my server she should’ve mentioned that! Why would I pay for sides that are more than my meal? What’s a little upsetting is as I was walking out. I saw the server and the bartender talking about me and it just wasn’t very mature. It was a comment for you to improve your service so that things like this don’t happen. I will return because I think it is a nice place and I did enjoy my food, but I think it should be mentioned that sour cream is $3.75 and a side of tomatoes and lettuce is over $3.

Visited for the first time today as I was recommended this place by many. My smothered chicken enchilada was amazing and my waitress Jennifer provided exceptional service. Definitely will be coming back!

Best green chile, hands down! This hole in the wall style bar and grill has always been a favorite of mine... and when I came back into town after ten years, I stopped by to give it a try. Upon entrance I noticed the place increased in size and had a few updates, but after a more than satisfying meal, I can say that they still had the same authentic and amazing heat that I love, so I ordered some of that green chile to go and enjoyed it on everything from my omelets to soup and crackers, now I just have to plan another trip to get some more.

Excellent green chili. Average chili rellenos. Decent house Margherita. VERY busy at 11:30am. Must have been understaffed today as we got food well before our drink order.

Local place with cheap eats and they say the best pork green chili in Denver. Update - fell in love with the vibe and now it's my local spot.

A long time family favorite. This place has been here for years. The green chile is top notch. I recommend the hot if you're not a wimp. However be warned it is spicy. I took some home because it's so good. So my family does somebody weekly reunions to get together stay connected. This was the suggestion for last week. Never a bad choice. So we arrived about 6:30 p.m. save it immediately the service was on it. Water chips drink almost instantly. The food was so fast we didn't have much time to talk. However we were unrushed and so we caught up. Highly recommend this over the newer chains located closer to home having a ranch area. Just less hype and the food that launched the other more popular locations.

This restaurant was recommended to me and I was told I should order the crispy Chile rellano with half and half sauce so that’s what I did. I order the #1 with a beef burrito. The chili sauce was good, a little spicy, but oh so good! I could have ate 2 (maybe 3) of the rellanos and been so happy. The flavor and crispness was spot on. I wasn’t even able to eat all my food, probably because I chowed down on chips and salsa. I definitely recommend this meal!!

Great local hangout. Good food, casual atmosphere and friendly staff. Next time get the Chile relleno with the green chili on the side, not smothered. 😋

Excellent food and service! And was pleased that it was the same great place I remember from 20+? years ago! And the prices are super reasonable!

Back in 1978, a short while after it opened, Brewery Bar II had great Bloody Marys and Margaritas, good spicy Mexican food, a mainly hard-working clientele and great service. Must have been there 10 times in the two years I lived nearby. Always good. Forty-five years later, I'm guessing it didn't change that much.

The rellenos here could be reheated in a microwave 3 days later and they’d still be better than a fresh relleno anywhere else.

Old favorite that I hadn't visited in a long time. I love that very little has changed; the food and the people are still as good as ever

Such good food and nice servers. Favorite place for real food and real people in Denver.
