Absolutely a worthwhile lunch stop!
We were killing a couple hours in Denver and scootered down to the central market for food and shopping. Stopped here simply because ramen sounded good. We were not disappointed! It was pretty good!
Started with the spam appetizer - never had it before but it was delicious and a whopping $3. Good enough we got a second to go.
My partner and I enjoyed two bowls - spicy miso and tonkotsu. The spicy miso was no lie, it brought some heat. The tonkotsu was exactly what I hoped for - savory, deep flavor, and lovely pieces of pork belly with well-rendered fat.
So lunch was awesome. And it only ran up $40. We would 100% stop again next time we’re in town.
Only thing is the actual restaurant atmosphere is a bit bland. But if you’re only there for the food, it’s a great find.
First timer here at Osaka and I was not disappointed! I was feeling a bit under the weather so my girlfriend thought it would be a great idea to enjoy some nice hot Ramen.
The place was chill, lowkey and the staff was super nice and greeted us as soon as we stepped in. Our server Allen was really great, super helpful and made sure our experience was top tier I certainly appreciate good customer service .
As for the food we started with some apps we ordered the spicy green beans, the Okonomiyaki fries and veggie gyoza all which I highly recommend. As for the main dish I got the spicy chicken ramen and my girlfriend ordered the vegetable ramen.
Both very delicious, hot and just the right amount of spice.
Overall I was very satisfied with my experience here and would recommend anyone to check it out!
P.s I forgot to take a picture of the ramen! But trust it looked amazing! Thanks Osaka!
Spicy miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen were both delicious. The “my wife’s donuts”- out of this world good. This is a must try in the area.
Ramen was good. Drinks were delicious. Staff was friendly. I only gave 4 stars because it was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant and it was a little pricey for what you get.
After a 3 hour hike/road trip, our group craved the comforting warmth of a bowl of soup. The birria ramen surpassed all expectations, with an extraordinary flavor that was complemented by a side of cold cider.
Pretty impressive prices especially considering they are in Rino! Exactly what you're looking for when craving ramen. Definitely try their mochi donuts (pictured) they were phenomenal. You may not be able to see from the ramen photo but there's another slice of salmon under the first one - left very full and happy. There are no windows to the outside when you're in the restaurant, may be a very cozy vibe in the winter.
I absolutely love Osaka Ramen. The appetizers are delicious. I recommend the chilled tofu, musubi, and the fries.
Ramen here is consistently delicious with amazing broth flavor and a good serving size.
The staff here are knowledgeable and kind, very attentive no matter how busy it gets!
2nd visit review: JUST as good as the first time. Ya know when you feel like it’s too good to be true? Like you must have inflated the memory to a god-like status? But no - it’s truly that good. Brought my man back and sat at the bar again (prime seating), split the chicken karaage (he agreed, best he’s ever had), and we both ordered a ramen. I’m dreaming about going back soon now that I’m writing this review.
It’s in a sub level space and pretty sparse but cozy. With all this rain we’ve gotten lately, this would be the perfect spot to go to.
Original review: Incredible! Best ramen & chicken karaage in Denver, hands down. I can’t wait to come back!
The staff was so kind, food was out SO fast (placed my app order, then spicy ramen a few mins later and my ramen came out first!). Plus I got a $1 Mike’s hard lemonade and it took me back.
I’ll be back soon!
The appetizers are amazing
The spicy miso not recommended because it tastes like kimchi
The salmon ramen is really good
Delicious curry gluten free ramen! It had good flavor and they had hot sauce to add if desired. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is there was only one type of gf/veg style ramen and I’d love to try different kinds. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t go back though! Loved the vibe of the place and the staff was super friendly.
