The ambiance is laid back and easy.They play great music at the proper volume including jazz ,pop and even bands like Odesza or Flume & Chet Faker. The colorful urban graffiti mural on both the interior and exterior and exposed brick with track lighting and a copper hanging lamp in the front gives it a hip vibe when paired with the hardwood floors. You can sit on a long couch or 2 soft, big backed chairs that scream, "sit in me and relax." or a long wooden table with chairs that looks inviting for games or political chats or even a few smaller tables for 2. A bar with stools runs along the front windows so one can relax and people watch! It all blends together to make a comfortable, friendly place to hang out.
The crowd varies from students on their computers studying, to a couple having a glass of wine and whispering, flirting, at one of the smaller tables to a group of folks laughing and talking about their day or even the solo person knitting or reading a novel. It's not overly loud, but you can actually have a conversation with a friend and not have someone give you a dirty look for talking. The acoustics work well for a great experience.
The staff is welcoming and helpful, even willing to have a quick chat and a joke or smile, which is lacking in so many coffee shops these days. The endless coffee cup is a great deal at $2.25 as are other coffee drinks like a 12 oz drip coffee for $1.95, a 12 oz Mocha for $3.75 or a hot tea for $2.25.
I have not had a chance to try many of the foods on the menu, but they do have breakfast sammies which run about $3.25, sandwiches that are about $5.85, or paninies that run about $6.65. They also have oatmeal and varying breakfast pastries. The blueberry muffin with brown sugar and maybe a bit of cinnamon, is delicious!! It has become one of my favorite treats at any coffee shop. They do have wines and spirits, even an unoaked Chardonnay (which is my favorite) at decent prices.
I highly recommend you give The Molecule Effect a try! It is at the corner of Santa Fe and 12th Ave. Don't forget to ask them about the Belly App that gives you points you can redeem for free coffee or food items. Go forth and enjoy!!
I absolutely love this coffee shop... the baristas are friendly and quick and the place has a hip, creative atmosphere... there is lots of good, energetic vibes going on and you get a real communal sense if you hang out... solo tables, group tall tables, or comfy sofa and arm chairs, the place is just plain inviting. Oh yeah, the coffee is great, too.
Such a cool place! Coffee, tea, and a cocktail if you're so inclined. They've got a full menu of breakfast, sandwiches and tapas, with a good selection of gluten free options. Met Megan and Mark-very friendly people. What a fun discovery! I'll be back!

What a breath of fresh air!! Stopped in for the first time this am. What a delightful surprise. The ladies were extremely helpful courteous and knowledgeable about their product. I got an amazing coffee and was out the door Within 10 minutes. Thank you for making this Tuesday a little bit better.

I stopped in for coffee while getting my hair done next door and loved the coffee so much that I grabbed another cup after my appointment. The atmosphere is perfect for one of my Pure Romance business meetings and I will definitely be back!
Cool place! Didn't have the wine I wanted but I went with the staff 's suggestion and found a new wine I like. I'll be back.

Love this place! Other then the fact they run out of half and half quite often. Nothing a little whipping cream and milk wont fix though! The espresso is way better then anywhere ive tried (all the big coffee chains, even other mom and pops shops). By far my favorite.

The molecule Effect is a cute coffee shop in Denver’s art district. The service is below average for Colorado coffee, but the drinks are pretty good. Their espresso is good, and the specials are unique. I think they could definitely work on their service and presentation, but overall it’s a pretty decent shop for Denver.
Place did not have a good sign except by the door, yup that’s the place with the skull mural. Parked on side of the road, it’s dark.
It has a good ambiance. Coffee was probably good but had a hot chocolate. Mine was luke warm not hot at all and it’s not all that. I give the hot chocolate 2 star only.
Staff is friendly.
Located in Denver's art district, this is a wonderful place to chat, enjoying choice of espresso drinks, coffee, 9 different beers on tap, or wines! Cozy seating area with a couch, 8 indoor seating tables. They also have a selection of pastries and hot foods.
I highly recommend their cafe mocha! Rich chocolate flavor, steamed whole milk, topped off with whipped cream and cocoa powder.
I was visiting Denver for a few days and I wanted to try this coffee shop. I had a breakfast burrito wasn't the best wasn't the worse BUTI loved my Autumn Rose Latte a wholeeee lottte (lol get it). The atmosphere was cool too, hand a couple couches you can sit at and chill/do some work and they had other seating for more intimate seating. I loved all the art they had in here and the chill vibe music. Only say 4 because I didn't care too much for my burrito but 5 star beverages are definitely here lol
This has been my new go-to coffee shop this summer. I love the environment, conscience, and the coffee! The staff is really cool and helpful. I also appreciate the size of their “large” cup. It’s truly a large!

Super chill place to grab a beverage and chill. I got the matcha latte; it was decent but not anything out of this world. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings that were moderately occupied on a Saturday afternoon. There was a minor incident when I went to lock up my bike and a random man appeared out of the alleyway between the cafe and the next building. He leisurely followed me as I walked toward the cafe’s doors and mumbled some words while directly staring at me. It was off-putting but also not unexpected for Denver. Overall, I’d recommend indoor seating.
My favorite coffee shop!! It's small but quaint. It has awesome seasonal coffees. They have light lunches (I love their paninis, but so does everyone else so sometimes they're out of them so go early!) My go to favorite drink is the Autum Rose ♥️. It's right on Sante Fe right in the art district and you can tell! They have different artists come in regularly (my guess is every few months) to change the art on the walls! Sometimes its a mural, sometimes it's digital art, sometimes hung paintings. It's a great spot! It is almost always quite busy so getting there early is good if you want to grab a seat!

This coffee shop has such nice staff, great cozy environment where you can hit a steady work grind or meet up with friends for a nice chat ~ lots of unique drink but I got the pumpkin latte and it was sooo yummy
I love the environment if this coffee shop. They have paintings from local artists on the walls and have a great set up for working on computers. The coffee is also phenomenal. I only got a small cappuccino to try it and had to go back and get another because it was so delicious. The burrito was cooked perfectly and tasted great. We would definitely recommend this coffee shop to anyone!!!!!!
Trendy coffee and wine bar in the heart of the Santa Fe arts district. Lots of local fine art on the wall and good music playing. Prices are a little high but worth it.
Came here while waiting for a table for dinner and was amazed at the quality of the espresso martini and old fashioned. Plus two for one espresso martinis!! My kinda place! Highly recommended
Place is amazing. Great drinks and food. Staff gives amazing service and knowledgeable. The art changes and is always enjoyable during day dreaming. My friend recommended that I try the pop tart.. I did this morning and it totally popped my mind on tarts. It was awesome. Definitely glad I went for it.
Super happy to have this as my neighborhood coffee shop. I've worked in coffee shops for many years and would consider myself an avid coffee connoisseur. I've had many of their specialty coffee drinks and enjoyed all of them. From the brown sugar lavender mocha, too (my favorite) the pistachio white mocha. The staff is super friendly and chill even when their super busy. They play good music and have cool art work on the walls which adds to it's soothing vibe. They also serve alcohol, which is nice if your meeting a date. Or if your doing homework it's also ideal.
LOVE The Molecule Effect. We came in with a large group and everything was so great. Had a blast with my friends and we had some amazing cocktails and food. Would recommend the portobello sandwich. Told everyone in my party to write a review because these people deserve it. Thanks!! See you soon 💜
