A no-frills, family owned Thai spot with above average dishes. The main draw to this place is price - they easily have the best prices for Thai food in the Denver metro area. The taste is good as well. I really enjoyed the country pad Thai, Tom yum, and pad khing. The papaya salad was a bit lacking. Be careful when you order spice level - the medium was plenty spicy for me, and would have easily passed for extra spicy at many other Thai restaurants.
The restaurant itself is take-out only at the moment. I don’t think they are allowing in person dining.
Overall, great value for the price, and a place I can easily recommend for Thai food.
I love this Thai place! This is probably my favorite since moving to Colorado. We dined in and it wasn’t crowded. It’s a definite mom and pop place and very authentic. We had Thai teas, the new Thai egg roll (or something like that), massaman curry, and the red curry. The flavor was incredible! I recommend trying the wild rice if you’re curious, it was yummy.
I was passing through on our way home for some Thai food and we took ordered for take out and this was some of the best tasting flavor Thai food in the area! They are very mom and pop so don’t expecting fancy date or best presentation, but the you can taste the quality and flavor they put into each dish.
I definitely recommend getting the drunken noodles and if you reallllyyy like spicy food then ordering the hot level is for you because it is super spicy for real but so so good. Support your locals in the area like this restaurant because they are putting their love into the food at a reasonable price.
Everything was so delicious and fresh! We enjoyed dining in. We got the vegetable egg rolls and papaya salad to start. As entrees we got the pad Thai with fresh noodles and the new Thai noodles both were great! Service was wonderful, family owned business and very friendly.
I’ve been coming to J’s noodles since 2012, when I lived around the corner. I have since moved to Breckenridge Colorado and still make it a point when I’m in the area to stop by this amazing place! As any true delicious Thai restaurant should be, it is located in a small strip mall shopping area. Judy always greets me and my husband with a hug and delicious food! The price is amazingly great as she hasn’t changed her prices since I’ve been going there. I highly suggest this restaurant as it is a hard working husband and wife who have had no help that make amazing food and make you feel like family every time you come in.
J's continues to deliver as one of my favorite Thai places. I'm a personal fan of their Chicken Pad Gra Pow and get it almost everytime I'm there. The sauce is delicious and it always comes out with the freshest vegetables.
The family that owns it is super friendly and always remembers me when I stop by - even when it's been awhile. Highly recommended!
This is, hands down, the best Thai food I've had in Denver. Absolutely everything is cooked to perfection, and it's evident they take pride in their food and service.
My favorite things on the menu:
The Crab Rangoon is THE BEST in Denver.
The pineapple fried rice is AMAZING.
The chicken satay is perfection.
The drunken noodles are a delight.
The country pad thai is delicious.
But their Tom Kha soup is the best I've ever had!
J's is seriously the best. Family-owned, no frills, just good food. (And amazing prices) - this is our #1 Thai spot in Denver. Tip: give them a call to make sure they're open before heading over. They are such nice people and make the best cream cheese wontons. We're loyal J's fans forever!
Really good family run restaurant tucked off Parker road. Great Pad Thai, and very spicy. Charming little place.
Great quality, great price and nice spice! Ordered medium heat on fried rice, and it was the right amount of heat. Got low heat for my father, he mixed a little medium with it, but couldn't eat only medium heat. Looking forward to trying other dishes, they all look delicious.
