You will not find a better place to enjoy phenomenal meals. Truly exemplary customer service. Incredible recipes, lovely vibe, good music, local art, delicious everything, organic ingredients, gluten free options for just about everything, both vegan and vegetarian options... Need we say more?... Ah yes. Donation based. Give as much as you'd like !! And a sliding scale with true options for all.
QUALITY CULINARY EXPERIENCE:
Some of their soups have reminded me of a decadence equal to that of a 4-star restaurant's quality. Even when 5x-15x less expensively priced. I heard that some of their recipes were developed by a chef who is also with Denver's original vegan restaurant, Watercourse Foods, as well. I've found the quality and taste of both locations to be amazingly fantastic. I can easily say that both the freshness as well as the overall quality of SAME Cafe's is far superior to that of any Whole Foods' cold and hot bars. Very easily. And the same goes for all of their recipes (made from scratch) with actual only quality organic ingredients utilised as well. Already super impressive. And with an intentionality far surpassing that of [Whole Foods, for example] we can see why their Love ingredient takes this Cafe to a whole new level of both contributional value and agency.
AMAZING VISION & MISSION:
This place is a space of the Future. With great innovation, it was created to work within the current climate structure to miraculously be economically inclusive of all customers. As a truly shining example of how we all walk each other into the future, SAME Cafe shows that it can be done.
I would highly recommend you to check out SAME Cafe. I hear they can even book for events, and fulfill some special orders, as well.
To simply say that SAME Cafe is offering a valuable contribution for the community, would be an understatement. Creating truly healthy, nutritious and delicious meals on a sliding scale option is an incredible feat in itself. Yet something else which SAME Cafe gives to folks each and every day to the larger Denver community, that of which is even more priceless, is human dignity.. I have witnessed it making someone's day who happens to also have either super conscious dietary preferences or severely limiting food allergies~ And I have also been warmed to witness it making another person's life, in even more profound ways, as well... In case finding organic, made-from scratch, gluten free and nutritious vegan options were not already something to totally celebrate! Their beautiful vision shines through true, and is a testament to their mission.
Support this Cafe. It will feel really good, and will taste even better.
A wonderful concept!
Thank you SAME for making a place for people who otherwise might not eat. Wish there were more of these.
Volunteered here last week and it was an incredible experience. The staff is caring, friendly and talented. The food is wonderful. Seeing the direct impact SAME Cafe has on the community is an uplifting experience. We’re going back as soon as we can.
When I was homeless in Colorado a woman at the shelter took me to this place and the food was really good and I was just so impressed that there was a place out there where everyone homeless and the non homeless could get a good meal. So I just want to say thank you SAME for all that you do.
Great place, great people, nice experience volunteering and the best of all: GREAT FOOD!
I learned about this place from my mother in Palmer, AK. She saw a news report about them and I was so happy to find out what great work they do for our Denver community. Keep up the great work.

I've eaten here many, many times and have never been disappointed. The food is incredibly delicious and always prepared with love!
SAME ( So All May Eat) Cafe warms my heart every time. There is so much love and joy in this cafe. The food is all donated and it’s healthy and yummy…perfect on a Fall Day like today. You choose a soup, a salad, a pizza, and a beverage and then you donate either your time or your money in exchange. I leave belly & soul satisfied every time.
What an amazing place! My lunch was truly unique and delicious and I got to participate a lil! I learned how to roll silverware today.
This is such a Denver staple!! When I first found out about it I couldn’t help it stop by and I’ve become a regular as well as my brother. It’s a place that offers food for everyone it regardless of whether or not you can pay. You have the option to pay $2+ or date donate your time of a half an hour. Seems like such a good deal right?! Amazing mission and amazing food plus volunteer team and the people that go there are supporting the best cause ever.
I was walking around a neighborhood I’m not familiar with in Denver, and I saw the SAME Cafe. I love that they want to make sure everyone has a chance to eat, regardless of whether people can afford it or not. People contribute how they can: giving financially, volunteering there, working at the cafe. The staff are kind, attentive, and hospitable. And the food is good.
Same cafe is a magical spot! The food is delicious and changes daily & the mission to create community through access to healthy food — is deeply impactful. If you’ve been looking for a neighborhood cafe where you feel known & seen - stop by!
I love this place! Love the concept of eating a healthy meal with community and paying what you can. The food is great, the place is fun and clean and the service is friendly and welcoming. A Denver must!!
Same cafe, is a collaboration of volunteers, donations and giving your fresh grown produce.. I exchanged produce for a fresh healthy meal. This is the best concept since sliced bread. I loved the place. Everything I had was so flavorful and good. Vegan. Gluten free, vegetarian options. I will be frequently here often. May even volunteer. Great plane well recommended.
Despite what you may have heard, or what you might think based upon a cursory skim through the web, the SAME Café does not feel like some grand social experiment. It also doesn't come across as a revolutionary slap in the face of Capitalism As We Know It. No, it just seems like a nice place to eat. It's comfortable and bright. The staff are friendly, and the food is varied, healthy, and really, really good. If you care to look closely, you may see a customer putting on an apron before stepping into the prep space. Or you may observe that diners seem to be enjoying their meal with more gusto after having washed dinner dishes instead of shelling out cash. This doesn't make the food taste better, but it makes the entire dining experience feel more rich, more rewarding. More nourishing. And hey, you know what? Maybe it DOES actually make the food taste better, at that.

I can't imagine how anyone could not give this wonderful nonprofit enterprise a five-star rating. The name says it perfectly: So All May Eat. Not only does this little cafe (and food truck--watch for it!) welcome absolutely everyone, regardless of ability to pay, but they also turn out delicious, healthy food every day.
The menu generally consists of two soups, two salads, and two pizza choices. There is usually one meat and one vegetarian option for the soup and pizza. Ingredients are mostly local and organic. Everything is made from scratch, presented with nice plates and silverware, and looks as good as it tastes.
The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a fairly large inside dining area with well-spaced tables, given the current virus situation. There's also an expansive, and shaded, outdoor patio. Colfax Avenue can sometimes be a bit noisy, but this is still a pleasant place to sit and to dine. It's also a chance to tell passing pedestrians about the many virtues of SAME and to encourage them to give it a try.
A standard meal is a bowl of hearty soup, salad, two slices of pizza, and a shortbread cookie, plus a drink. You can pay via a cash donation, by volunteering time, or by providing produce. There are no set prices. The menu varies from day-to-day, based on the available ingredients. Everyone receives the same meal and everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
The cafe is normally open for lunch, but they are happy to arrange any sort of evening event such as parties, book clubs, corporate groups, and even wedding receptions! SAME partners with many local organizations. See the list on their Web site.
Absolutely fantastic! Some of the best pizza in Denver. The millet mixed salad was to live for. Food was so delicious I couldn't take a photo before I began eating. -.- God bless you all!!! You blessed me!!! 😍🙏❤️🌼🌺🌷💐
