Reviews Rocket Ice Cream

Post workout, and this structure next door to the gym engaged my curiosity. A riveting of metal plates shaped into a skyward rocket. It's an ice cream shop. Not a green smoothie. I put away my performance chews to snack on a waffle cone - chocolate and banana pudding. Not regretting it.

The kiddo got a Cookie Monster and loves it. Come early to beat the Lowry Beer Garden foot traffic and you should be able to find a seat no problem.

The ice cream was good, however the lemonade was lacking. The rocket was very cool, and went well with the air and space museum right next to it.

Came here for the first time because we were looking for dairy free & vegan ice cream, and was suggested this place. The dark chocolate one is the vegan one that I tried, and was surprisingly extremely rich; I only ate 20% of it . After awhile, it was too rich that it reminded me of chocolate cake frosting. For the vegan dairy-free options, there was only three flavors on the menu to choose from. The place is in the shape of a rocket where only the employee inside works out of, and you sit outside on their patio.

Never enough staff but that’s ok welcome to 2023! Ice cream is out of this world. Strawberry cheesecake and Oreo is to die for!! Really wish they had the strawberry cheesecake and key lime more!!

All I have to say I they have vegan ice cream 🥰 My daughter got salted butterscotch and said it was delightful. Note: there is only outdoor seating & lines can get long on a hot summer night.

Definitely a unique ice cream stand. They don't have a ton of flavors but what they do have is delicious. Sorry if you came after us, it seems like we always cause a line at the ice cream shops.

Rocket’s Salted Oreo ice cream is my all time favorite and is the bar I set for my ice cream standards. Nothing else is as rich and creamy and salty and delicious as this. Tons of other flavors I love, too, don’t get me wrong. Worth every penny and every calorie.

Cute little kiosk-type place right outside of Lowry's Beer Garden. Servie was friendly, and the ice cream my kids got was delicious. Unfortunately, they were out of the ice cream cookie sandwich I wanted 😕 But otherwise, it's a cute little place!

This spot was on my list of places to check out since moving to Colorado from Iowa. Rocket Ice Cream is set in a nice area of Lowry neighborhood of Denver. A really cool spot with a beer garden, coffee shop and some restaurants. My girlfriend and I went to Rocket Ice Cream close to closing time, but the employees were more than happy to serve us. I got the mocha chip in a waffle cone, and my girlfriend got the salted Oreo in a waffle cone. Both flavors were super tasty, and we definitely plan on coming back, along with bringing friends to try it out as well when they visit!

I didn't have ice cream but I certainly creepily watched a multitude of others eat theirs. Based on the happy faces of those slipping into diabetic comas, I would guess it was pretty good. Oh the building they're in is pretty cool too.

This place is open seasonally, and is closed in the winter. The flavors here are somewhat unusual. I haven't had anything I absolutely couldn't live without, but it's always been decent. Of course, the rocket ship is the coolest part.

A fun little stand serving some of the best ice cream in town. The Salted Oreo is fantastic.

Great ice cream. Very cool location. Appreciated the misters on the building. Great area to hang out and next to some great restaurants and a beer garden.

Really cool area! Rocket Ice Cream is next to the Wings Over The Rockies Air and Space Museum so there are some huge airplanes outside, not to mention the rocket on top of the ice cream stand that came from Burning Man. Add to that some cute restaurants, a thriving beer garden, and an adorable coffee and bagel shop and you have a delightful area to spend some time. The ice cream itself is good. I had the Salted Oreo and Cookie Monster (warning: your entire mouth will be blue if you choose Cookie Monster). Lots of outside places to sit. Really friendly service. Excited to come here again.

Ice cream served out of a giant silver rocket? Yes please. Good selection of ice cream? Salted Oreo anyone. Only problem with this place is that it’s seasonal.
