Lost in the Mountains !!!

This place was a real treat! It’s in Downtown Denver in the RINO art distract. We have a new love for natural wine and heard they have some of the best fried chicken in the country so of course we had to check it out! It was a Sunday when we went and they had a fun game where you pick a color and a style of wine and they bring you a glass of something random in that style for $8. We started with an anti-pasta/ hummus board and a basket of Riot Fries. Then we tried a bottle of Skin contact White wine from Bikicki. It was so delicious! Next, we got two buckets of chicken, potato salad, another order of Riot fries which we enjoyed with a glass of Natural orange wine. Top notch experience!
Stopped by for a date and had a wonderful experience. Wonderful experiences don't come cheap though. Service was amazing wine was great and the music was chill. I ordered the fingerling potatoes with the bucket of chicken. The potatoes might have been the best I've ever had.
Such a fun, energetic atmosphere - and the friend chicken is really the best you can find in Denver. But without a doubt, what really “made” our experience was our server, Christina. She brought a deep knowledge of the wine list and helped us pick the perfect pairing - she was also incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel like we were old friends (a sign of a truly seasoned and professional serving staff). I’m looking forward to our next visit! Thank you Noble Riot and your incredible team!
I don’t usually give five stars for everything. I just love the scenery of this place. Part of it is cos I came on the perfect temperature day 70+ degrees. The fries are the best concept and pure taste of balanced salt, acid, and sugar. The superb quality of the modified sauce I was given even made it more pure. I sat outside, the weather was perfect and it had a serene vibe. I also had the fried chicken bucket cause I was feeling a little adventurous…it was amazing. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seasonings used were detailed and the oil must have been better than traditional vegetable oil.
I’ll definitely stop by here everytime I come to Colorado
Great spot with amazing service from friendly knowledgeable staff. Wine list is great, small bites are awesome but the fried chicken is great for a full meal too.
Just the kind of wine bar I like featuring natural wines. Some food options like fried chicken but vegan options were left to be desired… fun BIG BOTTLES for sale
Can only comment on the wine, the amazing, fun, helpful, approachable staff and the charcuterie. Five stars to each. Have had a good time taking two wine classes on a couple of Saturdays, and stayed after class to continue to enjoy the people & the atmosphere. Both times I've been there, I feel like I've made a new friend. Stop by!
Love the lettuce green wraps that are a special right now! So good I came back with a friend just so she could try them! Great wines and amazing fried chicken. Love the atmosphere as well. A+ all around
Noble Riot a trendy winebar making a lot of noise in the Denver foodie scene. Ironically, they don't even have a kitchen.
Prepare yourselves by having great customer service from start to finish. Everyone we encountered seemed truly genuine in creating a pleasant experience.
Our server, Michael S., seemed very passionate about our questions surrounding "orange wine". He explained that it is a term for skin-contacted white wine, where the grape skins are not removed in the fermenting process. He recommended a very reasonably priced bottle that paired exceptionally well with our chicken sandwich meals. Chicken sandwiches and orange wine!?! Welcome to RiNo. 😘
Food on the menu actually comes from the kitchen of the jazz club, Nocturne, located next door. Their buckets of fried chicken are getting rave reviews, but mostly consist of dark meat. Michael thought that we would actually really enjoy the unique chicken sandwiches, and he was right! The light breading on the crispy chicken breast was the perfect consistency. It paired well with the homemade bread-and-butter pickles, and house aoli. The purple fingerling fries that accompanied the sandwich completed the flavor pallet nicely.
The atmosphere could be called graffiti-chic. The main entrance is off of the street art filled alley, just west of Larimer Street. The décor pays respect to its industrial warehouse origin and is unapologetic in creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy and experience new wines. With bottles priced as low as $30, don't let the hype hinder you from trying out this debonair find!
Our server was very knowledgeable about wine, stayed under our by the bottle budget and brought us the perfect red wine for our needs. The food was meh, but the wine was the star of the show at Noble Riot
