A nice joint on the edge of downtown that was a nice little escape from the stuffier spots that are closer to downtown. The service was great and it seemed as though the establishment itself was living through the stories we heard and the decor we saw while we were hanging out. I'd love to be there in St. Paddy's day for sure. It was only a short scooter ride away from our hotel in downtown and worth the journey.
How can describe this joint other than friggin Awesome! My kind of folks! I went there for a drink with a friend on Marine Corps b-day and it ended up being one of the best night Ive had in a while. All the staff is super nice and cool, the Vets were just absolutely amazing! We sang we drank…We had had a blast! Thx for the memories yall!

Awesome Irish Bar.. so much more than just a bar... Karaoke on Sunday nights, dancing clubing all weekend, comedy on Tuesday nights every stuff is amazing they are more like family than a bar staff...
Party central. Shenanigans, but harder. Gotta love a good patio with a music venue. Went to see the Stubby Sheleighles there for my friends birthday. It was a blast.
We had the best time visiting this bar on a recent trip to Denver! The music was probably the best cover band I have ever seen and the owner/manager convinced us to get the pickle shots and we were not disappointed. 10/10 experience! Can't wait to come back!
Loved the Irish music playing. Don't always get that in an Irish pub. Great atmosphere!
The patio DJ last night 7/15 did his thing! Played nice throwback jams & had us all dancing. So much fun! Great music
Came here for St Patrick’s Day in 2022 and it was a total blast! Like music throughout the day in the main front area and the outdoor patio in the back. The drinks are priced well and made by attentive staff. The picture is from a local Irish instrumental chapter. This place knows how to throw down!
While my girlfriend was at her conference I decided to walk around downtown Denver. A good friend of mine that lives there suggested I check out Scruffy Murphy's, which is a great name. It has the look of a typical Irish pub, very charming, and had a pretty good sound system.
My friend told me about this spicy, pickle vodka they serve and I was very much intrigued. Sure enough, behind the bar I saw the vodka as well as other concoctions (see pictures). I had a "shot" (more like a double) of the vodka and some of the black cherry whiskey. If you love the taste of pickles that are spicy, you will love this drink! I really couldn't taste the alcohol, which might be why they poured a double, but the sour pickle taste was spot on.
The whiskey was also very good. A nice fruity blend that had the slightest hint of alcohol. I saw they had other blends with Skittles, apples, or peaches. Next time I'm in Denver again, I'm definitely coming back!
A regular here and a great bar with all the greatest people working here. Love karaoke and it makes it so much more inviting when the bartenders like Aaron and Ricky sing too! They’re the reason i started doing karaoke. The vibes have changed a bit recently with the bartenders participating less but we still love the staff.
Nice bar, octoberfest was happening so it was extremely packed. Live music was good. Floor was very sticky haha
Fun place if you're visiting Denver
We absolutely love Scruffys. The staff is fantastic and treat us like family.
Food was good. Atmosphere was fun, went on Tuesday when they have comedy open mic
Pickle backs and home made (flavours) vodka of all types. Go, listen to great music (80/90's) and get "pickled"!
