This place is the absolute best. If your trying to be a health nut and don't want a new bakery/sandwich shop to be addicted to, then your probably good to stay away. But if your looking to have the best $5 sandwich of your life and don't mind becoming addicted to an actual food item, then hit up Vin Xuong. There food is incredible every time I go, they have literally the most delicious pickled jalapeños I have ever eaten, and on top of all of that, they serve coffee and baked goods that are so tasty, it's downright UNFAIR. Everytime I go I end up with some delicious pastry filled with with coconut, sweet creme cheese, or some other decadent sweet filling. This place is absolutely my newest craving and I leave so full I wanna die for like $9.43 including my tip!! Okay so maybe $10 when I just decided that the nice cashier man not only earned my extra $1 bill, but also that annoying 57 cents I would have had jingling in my pocket all day. Better served in the Vin Xuong Bakery tip jar.
Best value for an amazing lunch in Denver! Our whole office gets banh mi here at least twice a month. It’s fresh, filling, and yet not nap-inducingly heavy. Grilled pork is a favorite, but I personally love the spicy tofu (add avocado for the full veggie experience!) Really can’t recommend this place enough.
So good! And massive, definitely shareable and totally delicious! With the jalapeños and chile to spice it up!
Best sandwich in all of Denver for a price you can't beat.
If you're reading this because someone asked if you want to eat here:
A) say "yes"
B) know that your friend is a good friend and cares that you are living your best life.
Delicious! The grilled pork Bahn Mi is excellent, as well as the pork buns! And of course you have to get coffee!
Incredibly delicious and affordable Banh Mi!! I never knew I would love Vietnamese sandwiches until I was introduced to this place - highly recommend!!
I dream of the tofu bahn mi! Best bread, best filling, best sandwiches!
This is a larger version of the branch in east corner center on Federal. It carries similar Che desserts, baked buns and steam buns, but adds a great Bun Mi selection. Very comfortable and accessible, great service and affordable costs
Got the Peking Duck banh mi weekend special and Vietnamese coffee. Absolutely delicious! I ate so fast I forgot to take a picture. Meat was super tender, the bread was fresh and flaky, and the pickled vegetables were flavorful and crunchy. Only $5.50 for 24 oz coffee makes me a happy girl. Boyfriend loved his combination bahn mi and Thai tea so much he forgot to share! Will be back and we highly recommend!
Great Banh Mi. The bread was fresh and soft. The grilled pork and other toppings were well balanced. Worth the hype.
Super efficient service and really nice staff! I got the grilled pork banh mi and it was ready in a couple mins. The sandwich bread was the perfect amount of crunch and the veggies with the pork were very fresh and tasty. Definitely would recommend and will come back to try other menu items and the dumplings!
Read that this place was highly rated for its sandwiches and it didn’t disappoint. My wife and I both had differ t sandwiches and they were both delicious. I had the bbq pork and she had the tofu. When in the neighborhood we’ll definitely be back.
Grilled pork bahn mi was so good, the bread was tasty, the pork was tender, and the pickled vegetables had some good flavor. Egg rolls were alright and the coffee was delicious.
Got to try several things from their menu and all of it was good. Their tofu was probably the best tofu I had tried up to this point in my life. I winded up grabbing the wrong bun (I had wanted the BBQ pork), but it was still good, I just took the quail egg out. Also their coleslaw was really good. You get a good amount of food for the price (so worth the price) and it is yummy. This is the price and quality Bahn mi should be. Overall I would recommend this as a place for people to try.
We ordered banh mis from here and overall thought there were good. The bread was a little too toasted for a sandwich, as there were lot of crumbs with every bite. Overall the price of the banh mi wasn't bad (~$10), and worth a try.
I can’t speak to authenticity, but the taste is excellent. Bread is crunch on outside, but very airy, and the meat/condiments are fresh and the appropriate amount. The staff is very friendly, and the sandwiches come out quick. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend getting a sandwich here.
One of the best values and tasting banh mi sandwiches I've ever had. Great price and great taste a must of your in the area
Went in because I read a good review about the spicy duck bahn mi. Found out that's only on the weekends so I asked for a BBQ pork one. Guy behind the counter suggested the grilled pork instead and goodness, what a great decision. Sweet spicy, savory, salty, and a touch of sour. Bread slighty crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. An absolutely brilliant sandwich, and it was so filling too! Can't wait to try the duck!!
Worth a special journey! Awesome marinated tofu in the tofu Banh Mi - pro tip: it’s vegan without mayo!
love this place! one of my go to place after the gym. plenty of parking and seating area. they also have a couple of outdoor seating and restroom for customers.
always get the same thing when i visit.😸
tofu banh mi or the tofu rice bowl
when they run out of tofu i get the pork banh mi instead.
taro milk tea or honeydew milk tea.
Delicious and flavorful! Not dry. They don't skimp out on meat. Best banh mis in the Denver area. Love the shop's atmosphere. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the Denver area! And highly recommend for anyone wanting/looking for banh mi sandwiches.
Also, grilled pork was my favorite. I also ordered combination which I really loved as well.
I’ve gone to this place for the last couple years. The sandwiches and pork buns are consistently delicious and made well. There was a point where their pork buns would always run out pretty early in the day. But more recently, they have been making more of the popular choice so it’s available throughout the day.
I’ve taken friends and family here -they always enjoy it!
I have been coming here for years. The best place in town to get Bánh mì. They even make their own bread. So good. The Thai tea is also the best in town. The lady working the counter was friendly and super funny. I would recommend this place to everyone.
If you appreciate banh minhs can’t go wrong here!
Super close many other eateries and Vietnamese grocers. This place has plenty of seats, drink options, baos, and even classic Vietnamese coffee.
They have vegan options as well.
Dang. DANG!
Love everything I have ever had from here. Banh mis are amazing!
Perfect bread: that slightly-hardened exterior with a perfect chewy interior that holds everything together from first to last bite.
Tons of ingredients, all fresh and delicious.
Awesome staff who seems to love being there. They are insanely fast and perfect with my order every single time.
Love their food.
The best banh mi on town. Weekends have specials like a spicy duck version. Don't sleep on the moon cakes or buns, either. Cheap and delicious!
