One of the last true dive bars left in Denver. The drinks are cheap. They have jello shots and karaoke. That's all you really need to know.
I used to work at the Berkeley so I was amazed at the changes made. It was so much brighter inside and the bar chairs instead of the old bar stools looked good. They have cute little hooks to hang your purse off the bar by legs. It looked great and the bartender was great too! For being around 2pm it was quiet but comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that there is karaoke two nights a week and a live band on Sunday. It was amazing!
Friendly server as you walk in to a.clean well priced spot. Been here for a minute and has always been a nice little watering hole
I've been there years ago and today was another good experience. The bartender was really busy and she kept a smile and had a super personality.
Had a great time there this weekend- I played my solo acoustic act- Richman Acoustic, and the crowd was great.
Great dive bar, 2 golden tee games, buck hunter and pool table
I went to Berkeley Inn on a Saturday night for the first time and had a blast! They have a great divey atmosphere, inexpensive drinks, and a really nice staff. There's pool and video golf in the back, plus karaoke going on (at least on saturdays). Note that they are starting a 3% service charge on cards in August (edited per comment) if that's an issue for you.
My favorite bar! Great people and awesome bartenders!
What made us come into a pub on a Friday late afternoon on St Patty's Day?!?! AND
NCAA playoffs on all TV's...
The fabulous lime green benches out front.
The vibe was just what our weekend needed!
The perfect dive bar, all. They get great live music in house. They have pool tables, golf games, a cool patio, and the regulars and staff are both welcoming. We usually go here to play pool or do karaoke, but don't forget they also have the NFL Sunday Ticket too, so you can watch your game with elbow room and space. Tarin and Mary are both attentive and efficient bartenders. They have treated my wife and I great since we first walked in. I also just found out that this place just won the Westword award for Best Dive Bar in Denver for 2022. Met Andrew, the owner, right after and he is great too. They will make you pizza if you need it, but just hit a dinner place on Tennyson (great street) and then hit up this place for the remainder of your evening. Love, love, love this place. You will too.
Great spot. Bartenders have always been nice and get you drinks quickly. Bathrooms are about what you'd expect in a good dive. Decent drink prices, good vibe and 2 good pool tables. A couple new pool cues would be a plus.
Edit: adding 1 ⭐ to counter balance Stephen who thinks drinks are watered down because he's an alcoholic that 'cant feel 5 drinks' and Mario who doesn't understand credit card fees and thinks the owner should magically make the space bigger when it's busy so he can be more comfortable walking through the place. If only businesses could review patrons.
I've been going there since 2006, its been through many changes, but I still go. I used to be the youngest dude in the neighborhood and now I am a geiser and I live westward. Its been a bar since shortly after prohibition ended so, kind of a relic as far as bars go. CHECK IT OUT!
Berkeley Inn has changed the bartender is awesome always on her job but the people are a little bit quiet they're not used to kind of people but other than that it's clean and a great place to do karaoke
One of my favorite watering holes on the Northside. Drinks are not exorbitant, Vanessa the bartender is cool and she's always behind the counter, and I run into minimal pretentious gentrifying invaders.
