I love this place! In a neighborhood where it will run you almost $20 to get a chicken sandwich from a food truck 🙄 I have been in search of a place exactly like this since moving here. $6.50 for a combo plate… that is insane!

This is an amazing deal for fast, hot, yummy food at a great price. I got a combo with two entries with noodles, rice, an egg roll. The vegetables are cooked just right in all of the dishes, with just the right spice. I added a side dish and a soup and it all came to around $16.00! I have lunch for tomorrow too. Highly recommend.

The best American-Chinese food I’ve had in a LONG time! Great price for tons of food. I’d recommend the BBQ pork and orange chicken (much better than Panda Express) 👍

This is the most Chinese food I've ever seen for $7. And it was hot and delicious. Granted, I came around noon on a Saturday, but I can't complain at all. I sat with my bounty and, after eating the jalapeno chicken, realized I get a FREE can of soda with my meal. Completely spaced it because I had like $15 worth of food in front of me for $7. Daaang. Anyone complaining about "service" is being a little ridiculous. There is plexiglass covering the entire food area with small holes cut out. I think the closest thing to "bad service" I received was the lady not being able to hear me very well. Sure, she wasn't bubbly or overly charismatic, but she's an old Chinese immigrant, dude. She's probably owned this place for 50 years. She was pleasant, efficient, and gave me more food than God eats. For $7. I can't recommend enough this restaurant. Those complaining don't realize that sometimes you've got to go to the hood for bomb Chinese. And maybe their restaurant isn't updated is because they're making negative money so that you can enjoy a cheap lunch. Come here. Bring your friends. Lock your car. Enjoy!

This is by no means a 5 star restaurant. However, if you are on a tight budget and want a huge meal and a drink, which is pretty good, then I definitely recommend this place. I recommend getting the lunch special here. For 7 dollars, it's worth every penny.

For price, flavor, and customer service, this place is the best buck-a-scoop for miles around! For $5 you get a clam shell to-go container filled to the brim with dishes of your choice plus a side(cream cheese wonton, egg roll or doughnut) AND a drink!! Always cooking and bringing out fresh food have even seen them wait a minute before checking out to serve fresh wontons to a customer. Highly recommend Ho Ho Chinese Restaurant

The beef+broccoli, orange chicken, dumplings, and egg rolls were excellent. I'm glad I ordered extra cuz the leftovers are a gift that keeps on giving.

For the price I think this is one of the best deals in Denver. The barbecue chicken and beef and broccoli are spectacular. If you substitute steamed rice for fried rice, it comes to a pretty nice and healthy meal.

I’ve been coming here for about 4 years, and when I lived nearby I would come here 2-3 times a week. They give you a MOUNTAIN of food and a drink for like $7. Here are my Ho Ho Pro Tips: -Always get white rice, not fried rice. There is plenty of oil on everything else for your rice to soak up. -Avoid the orange chicken and sesame chicken (they’re 95% batter with almost no chicken in them.) -Get whatever looks fresh! When it’s fresh, it’s delicious. When it’s been sitting under the heat lamps for hours, not so much. This is really important. I would never order delivery from here, since I wouldn’t be able to see which dishes are fresh. Some of my favorites are: -Pepper Shrimp- they somehow cook them so that the shells become edible and crunchy. Honestly these are some of my favorite shrimp ever. -Potatoes- these babies are MAGICAL. I usually get a side of these in addition to the combo meal. -Jalapeño chicken- not very spicy or jalapeño-y at all, actually quite sweet. -Satay Chicken- tastes like southern fried chicken. -Beef broccoli- good if you don’t mind your broccoli crisp. Good source of fiber to balance all the oil, carbs, and protein in everything else. -Mushroom chicken- zucchini and mushrooms make this another good source of fiber. -Kung pao chicken- tons of vegetables, also a good source of fiber. Less chicken than other chicken dishes. Eating the big jalapeño chunks in this increased my spice tolerance so much in the first couple years I came here. Is this a true 5 star restaurant? Absolutely not. But are they a godsend to this city? Absolutely yes. Ho Ho is a place where anyone can get a huge, reasonably healthy, tasty meal, for a reasonable price, in an era and city of unreasonable prices.

Can't commend this place enough. $7 for a huge lunch plate with fried rice or lo mein, 2 entrees, wontons or egg roll, and drink. Unreal value in 2023. The food is pretty good too
