Absolutely the best Mexican food in town! We've been going to Tequilas since it opened, never had a bad meal! The staff are amazing! Can't say enough!!
People here are the best and the food is great, never disappointed best margaritas ever. We are in there every weekend.
Love this little place! Good food and great staff : )
Our favorite place to eat! Great food and service!!!
Great lil spot! Went there for the 1st time last nite and the special they had for the nite was perfect amount and a gr8 price. The service was the best I've had in a long time, everyone helps out and that was very cool. Cozy atmosphere. We liked it A LOT and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend this lil Eastside jewel!
Best Mexican food north of the Pecos. Nobody beats their Chili Colorado (anymore).
We were in town for the Good Guys car show.
We looked at the reviews and this one came up but was father away from our hotel. We actually went in the wrong direction and came upon Tequilas. It was very busy so we thought that was a good sign. The staff were very friendly and tentative to our needs. Food was great and so were the prices. We will definitely go back again. 👍🏻
Best Mexican food in town!! LOVE this place, and the staff!!
We really like this little place. The service is fast and the prices are fair. The Margaritas are good, and the chimichangas are delicious. I recommend the shredded beef. If I had any complaint it would be that the portion of cheese dip is tiny and they are frugal with their chips over priced therefore the 4 stars. Otherwise it is definitely a favorite for the locals and the folks there are very friendly!
Best kept secret in Des Moines. Family owned and operated for over 13 years. We have been going since they opened. The food is great. The service is personable and fast. Prices can't be beat. I recommend the Shrimp Enchiladas or the Fajita Chicken Burrito. Open Tuesday-Friday
Awesome food, fast service and friendly staff. Wish they would bring back their super cheap margaritas but I will be a life long customer! Love them!
Small intimate location. Their chori-queso is delicious. I also tried their carnitas chimichanga covered in queso. It was good, but I would suggest another meat choice for this specific dish as the fried, queso and meat combination all together creates a little salt bomb. The lovely ladies I had lunch with here thoroughly enjoyed their enchiladas and tamales too. Prices are very fair, just don't try to go here on the weekend as they are closed.
We arrived on a whim. Driving around at 7 PM on a Friday night looking for a decent place to eat. We drive by Tequila and decided to give it a try. It was a cozy, family-owned place with booths and tables. I ordered a Strawberry Daiquiri and he a Diet Pepsi. The salsa was nice and fresh and the queso runny, but very good. The entree came quickly. You order by number here, although it is a sit down restaurant with menus. I got #42 Shredded Beef Burrito and he the (forgot #) Tequila Burrito. Both we very good and pretty much the stand faire Mexican. However, he also ordered the Mexico City Taco which was to die for. And he said he'd order a plate full next time instead of just the one. Giving 4 stars because everything was adequate +, but a little lacking on friendliness. We intend to come back, although wouldn't make it a priority.
Quaint restaurant. Service was outstanding. Ordered Bean Dip which was worth the visit. I ordered the Carna Asada Burrito which was good but could have used some sauce on top. My wife ordered the Mini Taco Salad, Fried Taco and Enchilada combo. It looked really good and wife enjoyed it. If you come for the margaritas make sure you order a large as the original is rather small, they do have a margaritas tower.
Best Mexican food around. I grew up in so cal and this is the closest to that style of food I have found. This is my new #1 favorite Mexican food restaurant . The inside is nothing fancy but the food is good and the service is great.
