We have gone to this restaurant since 1996. When we lived in Des Moines, we walked there at least every other week. We took our daughters there. We moved to Federal Way in 2001, and we have been back but not as regular. The other night we decided to go back before we move out of state. It was worth it...the best food, wonton soup is the best I've ever had. I remember in the old days Mike would come to the table & say, "I have this new dish...will you try it?" We never were disappointed. He still greeted us last night, remembering us. I think ge is awesome, excellent customer service and my pick for the best family Chinese food I have ever eaten!

We had our first experience at Mandarin Kitchen last night and were quite happy. The service was excellent, food well prepared and served hot, and the cocktails were great. Oh! And the portions allowed us to have lunch today. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks Mike and Pong!
it just gets better and better according to my kids Nadeem and Kyrin khan and baby bubba Jaxon and of course me...Kids say it's the best they have ever had.....
My family's favorite place to eat! The kids and us love it and I absolutely love that this is the one place I ask for something extra or to add and its done without forgetting. When we can't make it down we order our food to go so we can eat at home and its always done so quickly even when they are busy.
I have never had a bad experience food is alway good. They have the BEST almond fried chicken i have had.
We stopped by for take out last night. We ordered chicken chow mien, vegetable fried rice, and beef w/broccoli! Michael Chang and his team do a great job! The food was very good, service was quick. I would recommend if you are in the area! We will be back for sure!
I ate their the first week they were open..and now live in Enumclaw but still know where the best Chinese food is...Cranberry Chicken... Always on the table..

This was one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. It was four of us eating. All of us got nice portions of food and everything was absolutely delicious
I moved here from the east coast a few years ago. I was surprised that so many Chinese places in the area were so bad. I tried places in Bremerton, Federal Way and Seattle. I figured Tai Tung, with it's Bruce Lee endorsement, would be a winner, but nah. I had given up on good Chinese out here, until Mandarin Kitchen was recommended. Despite my skepticism, it was good. It was really good! It is among the best I've had! We had hot, fresh orange chicken on our table literally within five minutes of sitting. It actually tasted like orange, and consisted of lightly battered chicken rather than breading with a hint of chicken. We had also ordered lo mein, fried rice and honey walnut prawns. They were all delicious.
We're definitely coming back, and passing by all the other Chinese places in Federal Way to come here instead. There are any number of great, authentic Chinese places in the area but when it comes to Americanized Chinese this is the only place I will go to
110% fabulous! The sizzling rice soup was exactly what the doctor ordered- nutritious, veggie filled with soft and scrumptious proteins. Truly a healing and soul satisfying experience. Super kind, sweetheart family running this jewel. Mindful, clean, in- dining. I'll be back when I fly across country to visit my son, who lives in the area. Thank you, dears🙏❤
