100% would eat here again. I had an amazing experience. I made the mistake of calling the wrong restaurant location to place a to go order. When I showed up, they had no record of my order, and that's when I found out🤦‍♀️ but they were amazing.
They were quick to go ahead and take my order. While ordering, I asked for no mango black bean salsa. The man told me the mango in the salsa was amazing. I told him I couldn't do the texture of black beans. That's when he told me that it was made there and they could just take out the black beans. Fresh salsa is a big yes for me. While I waited for my food, they brought me a drink. I didn't have to wait long, either. When he brought out my food, he had thrown in queso dip and creamy jalapeño dip to try.
The food itself was amazing. The flavors were so delicious. The temperature just right. The portion sizes were big enough that I could have had two meals.
The restaurant looked amazing, and next time, I would love to actually sit down and eat there.
Our family ate dinner at Rosalita’s Cantina once we arrived at St. Louis from Oklahoma. When we checked in they told us the restaurant seating was closed but the kitchen was still open with seating on the patio. It was getting late so we sat on the patio. The patio itself was decorated really cool, but there was zero lighting at the table they sat us. We had to use the lights on our phones to be able to read the menu and again once the food was served because we could not see what we were eating. We started with queso and guacamole. The queso was average queso but the guac was delicious!! I could have made a meal out of just the chips and guac!! Between the five of us we ordered the Shrimp Diablo and the Al Pastor Street Tacos. Both dishes were so Yummy!! I would definitely recommend Rosalita’s Cantina and would even sit on the patio again (if better lighting was available)!!
I’ve been to a lot of Hispanic style restaurants all over the United States and I have to say, this restaurant is pretty amazing.
Not only does the restaurant itself have lots of authentic decor, the food is also authentic. I ordered the Diablo Steak, and it was phenomenal. The food was great, the mixed drinks were great, and our server was great.
Luna was our server, and I would recommend requesting service from her. She make sure to check on our table to see if/when we wanted more beverages, and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. Frequently checked in with our table, and was very helpful in giving us advice on what to order.
I would say that the price range for this restaurant is a bit on the higher end, but you get what you pay for. Excellent food and service, WILL BE BACK! 🇺🇸❤️🇲🇽
You MUST go and check out Rosalita’s! Hospitality from the bar to the staff was fantastic. I must encourage you to come here, enjoy the setting, have some good food and drinks. They were so very accommodating for our large party and made our time here inviting and we will return next year! A special thank you to Michelle who helped our entire party feel welcome.
We had a late brunch / early dinner here today. The decor/ambiance is very nice. There were plenty of appetizing selections for our family of four and everyone found something good on the menu (I had a hard time deciding, as many of the options sounded really great). Fajita Nachos were really good for our starter, and everyone was very happy with their entrees. I can highly recommend the Mexican Slinger for brunch, but based on the quality of all our selections, I don't think they serve any bad options here.
I really want to call out our server, Susan, as being amazing, and one of the best servers I have had in a long while. She was very friendly, and perfectly attentive throughout our dining experience. She made us feel very welcome right from the start, and only got better from there... she checked in at exactly the right moments, so we were never waiting (to order, refill drinks, pay the check, etc.), but she did so without hovering or being overbearing. Honesty, this was the perfect service... showed up when we needed her, and gave us space when we needed that... the well-made drinks served to extend out after mean conversation, but she never made us feel rushed to leave.
We will be back for sure. Although it's a bit farther from home than a few other options, this is likely going to be our Mexican restaurant of choice going forward.
This is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at. Decor is beautiful and peaceful. A fantastic place for a date. Food is LEGIT! I got the Matador, it's a little pricey but worth every penny and you get a lot of food. If u love Mexican this is the place to be.
Best tex-mex in STL! The chips & salsa were delicious, same with the guac!! My favorite entree are the pepita salmon and the fajitas. Truly top tier. I can’t wait to go back. :)
This was our first time here and everything was so good. The street tacos, the shrimp, even the desserts were amazing. We had Sue as our waitress and she was phenomenal! There was even a live mariachi band which really sold it for us. Highly recommend this place for the experience as well as the good food!
Rosalitas has an amazing indoor and outdoor (heated) area and great ambiance. Our server, Noah, was excellent! Sometimes when we go here late night we don't experience the most attentive service, but other than that no complaints. The fajitas are delicious! And the margaritas are chef's kiss. Highly recommend a visit!
Went for brunch with girlfriends today and had so much fun, especially thanks to our server, Sue! When my poached eggs came out, they didn’t look great, and she agreed. They were taken off my bill without question. When you go, you must request Sue’s section. She was the most personable and accommodating waitress, and her interaction with our table truly added to the experience.
Rosalitas is a go-to for tasty Mexican with great decor and atmosphere. I've been here several times over the years. Does not disappoint. Outdoor patio is one of the best in St Louis. Fajitas and guacamole are always terrific. This is a more upscale location than their one downtown, but both have great character and are worth visiting.
In town visiting relatives and friends for the Thanksgiving holiday. Had such a positive dining experience with friends at Rosalitas on Saturday that I came back on Sunday with other friends for lunch. Asked to be seated at Sue’s serving table since she had given us great service on Saturday and had helped make our dining experience special that previous day. We weren’t disappointed the second day!
I highly recommend this restaurant- but you must ask for Billy! He’s the best! . Every time my husband and I go he recommends the best dishes and we have loved them all! You can’t say Rosalitas without mentioning Billy!! Oh- and he makes THEE BEST Margaritas‼️. Everyone needs a Billy in their life.
Always excellent! The chips and salsa are always a 10 out of 10. Every dish we have tried has been great. Warning thou...the queso is a little on the spicy side. It was too hot for my niece and nephew to devour.
server sat down with us just to talk and take order, he was awesome! great service and food as always!!
Our lunch was fantastic and Alicia our server was amazing.
We were celebrating my Grand Daughter's first birthday and Alicia made it extra special with a birthday ice cream desert that she ate with her fingers. Alicia was so friendly and was very attentive.
Thanks!!!
