Rocky's Pizza is another favorite of ours when we are in "The Desert".
Don't expect fancy decor and candle lit tables. Rocky's is a plain booth style pizza place, with some bigger round tables, for diners who may have larger groups.
You have to ask for the pizza(s) of your choice at the counter. If you sit down and wait for someone to attend you, you will be waiting a long time. When you have placed your order, you will be given a plastic number for your table. This will give you and your friends time to enjoy some conversation, one of several draft or bottled beers or a house wine.
Pizza' range in price for $12.95 for a small to $20.60 for a large.
You know your getting value for money, when used on a regular basis by locals.
A favorite Snow Bird hangout.. Several of us "Snow Birds" get together a couple of times during our stay in the area. Great pizza and beer. Three of us shared the Calzone 3 Topping and a jug of Amber Rock beer. This is the first time we have had a Calzone type pizza. It's different in the type of pastry it is made from and very tasty. I will try this pizza again. I reserved tables for 12 in the central area of the restaurant and they were available when we arrived. My only constructive comment, is the type of tables they have in this area. They are large round tables, which is great for facing each other, but you are a good distance from the people opposite.
Nice place,smells were awesome. We took our food to go. 1 lg 4 topping, and 1 med 2 topping and cheesy bread $70. Small arcade, lasagna, spaghetti, pitchers and individual drinks. Candles on the tables, paper plates upon request. Nice little place. Pictures online brought us in. Sorry no photo for the cheesy bread we ate it all before I could ☺️
We had Pepperoni pizza with the salad. The place looks a little run down. The prices are too expensive. The food was good.
The best pizza 🍕 we have ever eaten 😋 there back open and we ordered a pizza it was delicious and I'm so very happy they are back open they were packed like always and we dined inside it was really nice. So much better then a nasty domino's pizza. Fresh and hot.thank rockys pizza your the best 👌
Great Rocky's Special Pizza, love the crust. Pepperoni is good too, not greasy. Look online for the updated prices.
We stopped in not knowing what to expect, it was our first time. The house pizza was the best tasting Ive ever had and included the freshest of toppings perfectly cooked.
It will truly be in our favorite rotation.
The calzone is kind of a secret ..it is what angels eat. The 3 topping large pizza for 15$ is a great value! This place is a must try whenever in desert hot springs..family recipes and great friendly staff...always the same folks making the same great stuff every time! Never had a bad dining experience at Rockys. You guys rock!!!!
Pitcher of soda on table. Very nice crust, handmade and fresh toppings! Employees very friendly. Service was great!
I liked the pizza, my wife really liked the lasagna. We will be back for sure!

Oh my goodness I was not expecting to love this pizza. We phoned in our order and picked it up to eat at home. When I walked it the place I was not too impressed and had my mind set that this was gooding to be a expensive “Domino’s” but it was probably one of the best pizzas I have ever had. We got a pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and sausage. The crust was so good and the sauce had sooo much flavor. Do not hesitate to go there.
The pizza is amazing. The cheese oozes and pulls like staright out of a commercial. The Italian dressing is heavy handed on the vinegar, which adds a pleasant bite when eaten with the pizza. Definitely recommend!

I grew up coming here and havent been here in years. We visited DHS and we decided to get pizza here. It was very good.
Ordered cheese pizza to go. Ready when they said it would be. Pizza was excellent. Crust was thin which we like. Not at all greasy. Friends got the Rocky's Special and they also said it was excellent. Staff was very courteous. Highly recommend them.
The sauce was scrumptious. I could test the basil & oregano. Loved that the salami was in strips. That is ingenious. Only 2 pieces left!! Get ya some and tell them Outerrealmz.com sent you

I have been living in Desert Hot Springs for 24 years...and have been eating Rocky's food for 24 years. They were established years before I moved here. To me this is the closest thing to real NY pizza you will find in the desert. Just like NY I always order the cheese pizza...and I have to get my meatball sub as well. I have never been disappointed with the taste and quality of the food...you can't go wrong when the bulk of their food is shipped from the east coast and it has always been family owned and operated...don't confuse this with other Rocky's ...they hold a standard higher than the rest...also they deliver....world class customer service. PS Rocky's now welcomes back diners to enjoy their food inside!
