Every dish has been absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Definitely worth waiting for a seat!
We loved Parks & Rec. The menu is unique, fresh and the food was great. Service was a bit slow, but they were packed and everyone was working hard, so it was fine. We enjoyed a relaxing brunch. If you desire, for $10 you can buy the staff a round of drinks. Nice touch when they are working hard. We will definitely go back.
Parks and Rec is a hip and tiny diner with picture perfect food, smooooth coffee and cool waitstaff. I had ricotta pancakes w orange marmalade and cranberry conserve. Yummy! I recommend!
I've had a variety of meals here but never the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit Sammich. While it might sound like an everyday choice, this was not your fast food sandwich.
The freshly-made biscuit had lots of flavor and the sausage included some very savory spices. The cheese was perfectly melted and the egg done just right. I added some wonderful home first that were perfect.
Surrounded by a great atmosphere and treated with outstanding service, how could you go wrong? In case you're wondering--you can't go wrong here.
So there was definitely a long wait, about 45 minutes, but well worth it. A previous review stated you can make reservations, is that true? Anyway, regardless of that, the Ricotta pancakes we're so good, a bit sweet for me but only because of my gastric bypass, because I LOVE sweets but my body doesn't. Lamb bacon was superb! Almost like a jerky in my opinion. My bf had the Carbonara Benny, which he absolutely loved. The staff were friendly and funny! We will be back! Can't wait to try something different next time!
Really one of the gems of Detroit. Been twice now and some of the best food and service I've received at a restaurant period. Every single dish is cooked perfectly.
Beautiful little diner, very relaxed and intimate setting. Staff was wonderful, polite, and very engaging. Food was so amazing! You will be blown away by the eclectic and artful taste and arrangement of this diners ever changing menu. Hidden gem of Detroit. Thank you Parks&Rec! Lifetime customer!
Great food and even better service!!! Portions are huge. Atmosphere is so open and welcoming. Liz was great company as our server at the bar.

Omg the food was sooooooo good..... I'm sure if the children had been more open to me picking what I think would taste best they would have liked it, but the three adults all agree that it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.
I bet this place is just as JJ's dinner in the show parks and rec! The food was amazing, breakfast poutine genius!!!! The waitress Liz was amazing ask for her!!!
