I was referred to the restaurant by my cousin who swears by it, says it's the real deal. She suggested the chicken parmesan, beef ravioli, or pizza for me to try. So I get the chicken parm for myself and the beef ravioli for my 2yr old son. Whom by the way is the pickiest eater on the planet. I get there and the young lady handling the take out was very polite. I get home make our plates. I decided to split the chicken parm with my son because he saw the spaghetti and wanted that instead. IT WAS AMAZING!!! It taste like Jesus made it. That was the best chicken parm I've had in my life and I'm very particular in how I would like my food to taste. It was also a hit with my 2yr old son. The wasn't a noodle spared between the two of us and he didn't drop anything on the floor. (Which is an everyday thing it seems like!) The chicken was a real piece of chicken and not that processed stuff. It was nice and juicy. The ravioli was really good also. However, the chicken parm stole the show. I would definitely put this restaurant in my top 3 !
Hey everyone, as you may know that Mama Rosa's have Great Pizza and Pasta. But did you ever have the Ribs? These old classic style ribs and some of the best anywhere in the Detroit area. Oder the Rib and a side of pasta and it's like getting two meals for the one. Mama Rosa is a long time favorite when I lived on the East side and when ever I'm on that side of town this is my go to place. Ask for Sam the owner's and the son of the father who started it, and is keeping it rolling with the same high standards. Did is say they have cool beer>

Best pizza and pasta around. I eat there at least once a month and have never been disappointed. Not only do I love the food, I love the staff, too. Amy is my favorite of any restaurant I frequent.
Haven't been there in awhile.My hubby was friends with Tony and hung out when it was on Mack&Springle.Im going to go there soon.I love the pizza.

Best pizza and pasta in michigan! All there food is good.
I've had the pizza, chicken and pasta with meatballs on separate occasions and I enjoyed all. The service was awesome!
This is my favorite Italian place in Detroit! Great food, friendly staff, amazing prices ! I wouldn't change a thing!

I've eaten at every Italian restaurant in Metro Detroit and Rosa's has the best spaghetti sauce in town!! I dream about it! Best pizza too! Our favorite pizzeria.
I hadn't been there in a long time and their pizza is as good as it was 30 years ago!
Excellent pizzeria. First time here. Great service. Outstanding lasagna. Good prices. Clean. Perfect for a family outing.

Awesome pasta dishes worlds best pizza to die for, fast service, quaint with little lamps in your booth. Will be coming back for sure.

I've been eating here all my life. I remember playing the Pac-man game while we'd wait for our Pizza's. This place is a piece of me. They even had a "Deese Special" for my Dad. Him and Tony go way back. RIP TONY. Your Pizza will always keep me happy and make me full. P.s. leftovers are soooo good.
Pizza and wings were good. Loved the fried mushrooms! Delivery took about 25 min which was great. I will definitely be ordering again!
The best pizza on the Eastside of Detroit. Mama Rosa has been around since I was a child and I'm 52 now and still is Bestest Pizza Everrrrr
It's not New York style, it's not Detroit style, but there's just something so delicious about Mama Rosa's. I've been ordering from here for years....normally round but sometimes square. Also, their Italian sub is really tasty. Ask about specials on Monday and Tuesday.
I wanted a slice of my favorite pizza, so I traveled miles to satisfy my tastes. It was good, and it came short this time, but there still are my favorite pizza.
I drive 45 minutes each way for Mama Rosa's take out!! No matter how busy they are always I am greeted with a smile and the amazing food is worth the drive.
My wife's favorite pizza and pasta. That's saying a lot, coming from an Italian familia!
Also, if you're next door having a drink, Mama Rosa's is their kitchen. Don't hesitate to order a fine dinner. It'll be right over.
I got the veal parm and it was excellent. I also got the pizza special and it was outstanding. Thanks for the quality.
