We came in last minute and they were able to seat us no problem. We ordered the paella and it was totally worth the wait! Everything was amazing. The pomegranate salad was perfect and the white sangria was delicious but strong! Totally worth the splurge and the paella was definitely worth the wait. Insanely delicious! I had rice pudding for dessert and it was amazing!

We had an excellent experience. The paella and empanadas were delicious. We were also taken by the sangria that had a surprising, refreshing hint if cinnamon and the excellent service. Much thanks to the staff and the chef who graciously asked us about our experience and shared his own.

First visit to Bolero, ordered a nice drink with the poblano pepper, very nice. Taqueños appetizer was fresh and hot. Entrees both shrimp and steak dishes were prepared and displayed nicely followed by the delicious coconut flan. Service was attentive and able to answer our questions regarding preparations. Definitely will go back! Also, lots of GF options if you need them.

Absolutely fantastic! I found quite a number of Peruvian dishes prepared to perfection. They also make our national cocktail, Pisco Sour! The menu has typical dishes from many South American countries. We have to go back many more times to try them all... then all over again to try them again and again...

Went to this Latin restaurant for their owner's, Vicente, Wine Night. It was excellent. Located in midtown, this is the sister location to Vicente's Cuban Cuisine downtown. The atmosphere is great; modern and chic. It's also pretty upscale. There was a clarinet orchestra playing, which is much different than their conga drums at the Cuban restaurant. The wine dinner consisted of a 6 course meal paired with a wine for each meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone going on a date night, service is wonderful.

I had an excellent meal. What really made the place great was the ambiance. Waiter was excellent. Rolls and food were on point. The waiter was excellent and the manager, jose was also extremely friendly. I'd highly recommend this place for a date!

We were recommended this place by the owner at Vicente’s, downtown Detroit. Enjoyed our New Year’s eve dinner here, made great by the fact that they happily accepted a last minute reservation request just a few hours before we wanted to come in! Food was excellent and portion sizes were large. I ordered the Picanha (steak tapas), bisque de langosta (lobster bisque) and shared a ceviche clasico. My boyfriend ordered the entraña de novillo (Argentinian style skirt steak) and platanitos fritos (fried plantains). I was very happy with my steak tapas, which came with seasoned polenta, but was not terribly impressed by the fried plantains. We could have done without them- very small portion size. The skirt steak entree was incredible- tooo much food! The lobster bisque was okay, I think I had just ordered too much for myself. The ceviche was incredibly salty and had an overbearing lemon flavor, so a little hard to down. But I’m sure other people might enjoy that flavor. We had 3 drinks total (cocktails) and our bill came to about $140. Acceptable only because it was a swanky NYE dinner, but I think for the overall experience and ambience I would rather dine at Vicente’s. The food took a while to arrive (wasn’t expecting speedy fast but it was definitely on the slow side). Wasn’t a huge fan of the location (Wayne State campus), but luckily it did offer valet parking and was close enough to downtown where we were headed right afterwards. Overall, great, warm ambience (was just a bit dead when we went around 5:30pm) and yummy food. Probably best to start out small and then add!

Great decor, excellent food choices. My only complaint was the live music made it hard to hear the person across the table from me.

Jane the bartender makes the experience amazing! And the chef has a amazing health-conscious, many items gluten free, NuWave yet traditional Latin menu.

I had a phenomenal experience at Bolero last night. They fortunately were able to accommodate our party of eight plus two infants last minute which is unheard of. The food is incredible and authentic. My entire party thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers, main courses, drinks, and deserts. Oh, and the drinks! WOW! Not one complaint, we were blown away. Additionally, the ambiance is gorgeous! None of the above would have been possible without our INCREDIBLE waiter. He made our first-time experience absolutely exceptional. I can't wait to return for brunch!

They share lots of similarities with Vincents’s, which is to be expected as they are owned by the same group. It’s menu is smaller, if not slightly more upscale. It once again focuses on a none traditional Hispanic menu (Cuban/Peruvian) as opposed to Mexican or Central American. The taste is refreshing and the service is fast. It’s a well done restaurant with a great ambience inside. The seating area is truly maximized and the bar looks up to the job of keeping a crowd happy. I would highly recommend coming here for a meal, drink, or meet-up. The paella’s are massive, but well worth the price. The salmon is great. We love getting fish and seafood here, since it’s always so nicely done.
