Closer to my hotel than Misky Misky this place has both a Peruvian and Thai menu. The staff was wonderful and gave me a cup of soup to try. The fried plantains were cooked enough to be soft but not mushy. Beef over french fries was tender and gravy not too salty. Finished with the "donuts". I love the Chicha Marada but do think I will bring my own vodka next time to give it a kick.
Delicious and good portions. The drinks were great too! I recommend trying maracuya and chica morada.
Had the lunch special, Lomo Saltado, which came with a very delicious soup, rice and a roll. The passion fruit drink was very good.
Awesome food.
We personally Love the " papas relleno"
It is a stuffed mashed potato, filled with all sorts of goodies.
The food was very delicious and the prices extremely affordable. Plus, its nice to have 2 different countries cuisines in the same place. Hubby went for thai and i had peruvian myself. We were impressed with both dishes.
We have been looking for decent Peruvian food for a long time and finally found it. Our standards are pretty high and this place passed the test. They have many items that you don't normally find at the average Peruvian restaurant. Quality is high, service is fast and the food is delicious.
This place is not fancy but the food is exceptional. They are very busy for lunch and for take out the rest of the day.
If you haven't tried Peruvian food before you are in for a treat.
Start off with the roasted chicken. Very flavorful not like any other roasted chicken. Be careful of the sauces. The green one is spicy !
Next time try the Saltado Chicken or Beef. Very unique dish. Great flavor. You will want to eat here on a regular basis. Get the Inka Kola - special Peruvian soda.
Oh, they are closed Mondays.
Peruvian food.. in Diamond Bar! Come get some, it is delicious food available for dine-in and take-out. They have some good lunch specials. The staff has a hard time speaking English sometimes, but it definitely isn't that big of a deal. The restaurant is hidden in a plaza behind the Chevron, so be sure to keep a lookout for it when you are in the area.
