Upon arrival, given the plaza I didn't think much of the place at first, until I got closer. Upon walking in you immediately are greeted by the friendly and welcoming vibes the establishment has. The food came out promptly, and everything from the appetizers to the meals themselves were top tier. Given I have visited many food places, this will cement itself as one of my favorites in South Florida. The staff was nice and friendly, and very polite.
The food was really good. Arepas were fresh and stuffed with so much of everything. Waitress was friendly. The Chicha drink is a must try if you have a sweet tooth. I don’t give it the complete 5 stars because they automatically add the gratuity to the bill if there is 1 person or more. So you are automatically billed 18% gratuity. Other then issue everything was fantastic and I would be back.
Best arepa I’ve had in ages. They got this one right. I grew up in a place where arepas were for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I found the place charming. I am from Orlando and always love finding those places I never thought were there. Tried the sampler don't exactly know what the triangle pieces that seemed to be made like a pancake. It was my favorite. I enjoyed the place so much I tried something a bit extra it was called an Arepa.
This restaurant definitely does the best to offer you the traditional venezuelan dinning experience. All items in the menu are excellent, the services is super friendly and the place is kept super clean, however I found it a little pricey for the way this restaurant is set up. A pabellon criollo and a natural juice, no appetizers nor dessert was $26 since the 18% gratuity is enforced. I guess it was fair for the service but would rather have the option to leave the tip as well. Besides those sour items the rest was super nice and delicious.
