This is some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. John the owner and his wife are both delightful. Service is amazing and the food is even better. I have only been there twice so far although I am sure to become a regular with the great pricing, service, and best of all the amazing food!!! Whether it is the meats or the sides, everything has been delicious!
ribs on special are the plan for dinner tonight but we knew we couldn't wait until then for some hillbilly bbq. we got pulled chicken and the brisket along with the Mac n cheese and potato salad. portions are a good size and OH SO YUMMY!!! We will definitely be back!
Driven past this place quite a few times and today was the day I decided to stop in and give it a try, and WOW very good barbecue. One of 422’s hidden gems! Brisket sandwich the coleslaw the mac & cheese is off the chain!! Definitely stop in and give hillbilly bbq a try!!

Nice spot to stop for lunch. We had the beans, chicken tacos, brisket and pork sandwiches. Everything was really good. Worth a stop! Pricing is decent and they do take credit card.

Stopped on a whim after hiking at French Creek state park. Easy drive over, Great food. Had the brisket lunch for myself and the pork lunch for my wife. DELICIOUS!!
