Last week an old friend and I got together for dinner to catch up. Not wanting to travel too far, we decided to meet halfway at a new restaurant called 3 Corners Bar & Restaurant in Downers Grove, IL. I was skeptical at first because I'd seen three restaurants go under operating in that very building, wondering if this would be the fourth. Within moments of arriving, I was shocked to see an overflowing parking lot on a Monday night. We walked in and were greeted by two smiling faces and quickly shown to our table. After discovering that their special of the day was $3 draft beers I was a bit confused. The beer list was lined with beers from breweries like 3 Floyd's, Brickstone, and Dogfish Head and there was no way that all these drafts were $3 was there? -THERE WAS. Having had already made quite the impression, I was very excited to try the food. After catching up over our $3 crafts we ordered an appetizer followed by entrees. The appetizer came out within ten minutes and smelled delicious. A 3-cheese spinach artichoke dip accompanied by crispy pita was just the trick and sent my mouth watering. The lightly baked cheese blend was creamy and consisted of goat, gouda, and feta cheese. Getting a bit full because of the beer, I decided to only eat a few as I had three Halibut fish tacos on their way! The taco dish had good height and was piping hot, emitting a zesty, robust aroma. The side of black beans and rice were nothing incredible, but then again, it's rice and beans. The mango salsa, smashed avocado, fried Halibut, and coleslaw was wrapped in a warm and crispy corn flour tortilla that packed a flavorful punch. The Halibut was light and crispy and contrasted the flavors perfectly. Needless to say, I was able to finish my entree and come back for the dip. The great beer, food, and conversation ended up being the perfect ingredients for a great night. 3 Corner's is definitely worth checking out and I’m confident they will experience a different fate than the restaurants prior and be around for years to come. P.S. This may have been written in a Monday night ;)

We went last night for the Cubs game and closed the place. The staff was very friendly. Let me sample some of the craft beers till I could make a decision. I hated being "that" customer but they were great. The Reuben rolls were phenomenal. My friends and I had 4 appetizers and they were all fantastic. The owner came over and introduced himself and he was nothing but nice. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken wrap. Best one around. Definitely going to make this a regular spot. Welcome to the neighborhood!

We had an after work get together here and we could not have asked for better. Our server Sarah was phenomenal, we had people coming and going and she was on top of all of it. We ordered a few rounds of appetizers and all were great! The favorites we're the buffalo sliders and the jalapeno poppers. We will definitely be back!!

A good place to catch-up with friends, watch a game or take the family. We went on a Monday night after 7PM. It wasn't really crowded, but they had everyone in the one section with the bar so it seemed more full than it was. There was another room towards the back where the restroom is located but that was not in use. There also is an outside area but it's gotten cold so nobody was out there. Since they are just off Lemont, the parking is just on the North side of the restaurant. Additional parking is plentiful in the strip mall parking lot since this restaurant is separate and out towards the street side. Food wise, we started with the cheese curds. I had the Cajun Chicken pasta. It was good and filling. My wife opted for country fried steak, her first time trying. She's not crazy about it. I tried a bite and the breading was crunchy and it seemed okay. She said the mashed potatoes seemed like instant and the corn on the cob from frozen. My teenage son had the burger and fries, he ate maybe half the burger and all the fries, which is usual for him. My youngest son had the corn dogs and fries. For drinks, they have a code in the menu you can scan to see what's on tap and Monday night is $4 tap night so I was tempted, but decided on soda. Boys had rootbeer, wife sierra mist and I ordered a Dr pepper. My soda tasted nothing like Dr pepper so not sure if it was just too watered down or was just a Pepsi but it definitely didn't have much of a taste to it. All done with no desert, the bill was $83-84 and with tip you'll be right around $100 so $25/person (but that was with one ordering from the kids menu). I'd say most dishes hover around $15 or more. I had read one review that mentioned a credit card surcharge, but that was not the case for us. The bill was the same regardless of how you paid, cash or credit.

The good - Good atmosphere and great food. The not so great - Extra fee added for credit card purchases. Chincy on the dipping sauces with an extra 50 cents each for extras. Would be OK if prices were low but an $11 order of cheese curds should cover an extra 5 cents of ranch or marinara.

It was our first time trying 3 Corners Grill &Tap. We came on this particular day based specifically on trying to find a restaurant in DG that had a decent variety of menu options with some healthier selections too. Our waitress Mia was very polite, friendly and attentive to our table of 6. My father-in-law loved the Baby Back Ribs - half slab. I was happy to see a ramp inside the restaurant leading up to seating at higher level for those who needed such access. My daughter and I enjoyed their quesadilla with chicken for appetizer and the Pear & Berries salads we ordered for our lunch. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, too. We definitely hope to return in the future to try something else! It has a pleasant atmosphere.

My first time visiting this place and the food was awesome. We had the sampler platter, side salad, and the crunch burger. The portions are huge. I had enough leftover for dinner. The waitress was attentive and very friendly. Lots of options on the menu and the daily specials are worth a visit. We will be going back....soon.

We parked in a very full lot expecting there to be a 15-20 minute wait and we were pleasantly surprised to just walk in and get a table. The entire staff from the hostess to the waiter were very polite and very prompt. The menu was no frills bar food but they had a lot of little touches that made it unique. The buffalo chicken sandwich had chopped celery and carrots on top that gave it a great crunch. The club sandwich had a tasty aoli instead of just regular mayo. The beer menu had some incorrect descriptions but overall good selection. Another great addition to the local restaurant lineup.

The food was good but the service was very slow. They may have been short staffed due to lack of people not wanting to go back to work. I would go back and give it another try.

The food is delicious. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I definitely plan to return. They were very accommodating with my substitutions/additions. I ordered the “tater tatchos” with no bacon, add ground beef and grilled mushrooms with no tomatoes, extra jalapeños. I have absolutely no complaints about this appetizer. I also ordered the Cajun chicken pasta (a bit under seasoned in my opinion but it was tasty nonetheless). My husband ordered the six mini burger deal for $13.99 and he was a little underwhelmed. He tried the bison, shroom and swiss, buffalo chicken, (2) fish and fuego. He said that there was barely any sauce on the sliders and stated that they were mostly bread with a small amount of patty. The fish slider was his favorite. Our total was $45 for the three dishes picture. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. Prices are a little high, overall 7/10.

Had the Bison Burger and wings. Bison for the first time, slightly gamey but good. Wings were done the way I like them, not dry and overcooked, naked w/ sauce on the side. Buddy had their version of Poke Nachos which he said were very tasty. We went during the CONCACAF Final where Mexico beat Panama but surprisingly it wasn't busy.

This is like a place I'd go to when I want something nicer than Applebee's but not over the top. The food was good the margarita was delicious and my service was amazing.

Wonderful food, drinks, and atmosphere! My husband and I had a couple beers on tap and they were great. I had the fish and chips which were just about the best I’ve ever had - truly impressive! My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was the perfect amount of spice with great depth of flavor. Service was absolutely awesome even on a busy Saturday night. This is definitely becoming a favorite weekend spot for us!
