Really good breakfast. The South Eastside has been needing a healthy and organic breakfast spot, and glad we finally found this place. Even their toast was tasty. A bit more expensive than average diner fare, but worth it. Good cup of coffee and very friendly and attentive staff. We will be back.

First off if you care about Quality vs Quantity I highly recommend Poached Kitchen! Remember YOU are what you EAT and you get what you pay for. Poached Kitchen is a new restaurant located in Downey, CA. You must check it out if you're in the area. Simply GREAT quality food here! They serve Farm-to-table Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch! They use organic meats, farm fresh ingredients and your meals are made from scratch. You’ll never find anything pre-made, frozen, or with artificial ingredients. They have FRESH squeezed OJ, the best coffee blends, craft beer, mimosas, and wine. I loved the french toast and chilaquiles. I can't wait to go back and try new dishes.

Tried this place for the first time on Wednesday. Loved the atmosphere and the passion the owner has about his food. The food was amazing and filling. Will be so coming back here! Nothing was floating in grease, under cooked, or overcooked. The food was ready fast too. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! Clean eating, healthier prepared, and locally sourced ingredients so it's a win, win for all!!!

My first time visiting and it was well worth it. The atmosphere is cute and there is outdoor dining for those that want a little more space! I had the waffle and a mimosa. The waffle was crispy and fluffy, a little on the thinner side but I enjoyed it. It was simple and exactly what I wanted. The mimosas are so yummy, and I could tell that it was fresh orange juice, because it had such a fresh taste. I do recommend checking this place out, and I look forward to coming back!

Had brunch for my bday and Peter was absolutely Amazing!!! He was so attentive and charismatic giving my group and I one of the top if not the Best service I’ve had dining out. We indulged in the fruit with mimosas as we waited on our food that came out of the kitchen. Definitely recommend this location and You won’t be disappointed in the service or food.

I love this place! Breakfast included the “Omelet á La Grecque”, I requested egg whites. This is a favorite of ours, so we have two plates of the same dish - one with regular eggs and the other with egg whites. It’s a flavorful omelette packed with fresh spinach, mushrooms, green onion, sprinkled with dill for garnish and feta. Accompanied with their famous hash browns that taste buttery and are always crispy on the outside. It’s a well organized establishment, order your food, and sit out in the ample airy patio. It’s decorated with greenery for a relaxing fresh feel. Parking is easy and free. Refills on coffee, sometimes the waiter will come around to refill or you may need to go inside to request a refill on busier days. I highly recommend Poached Neighborhood Kitchen for breakfast, there’s something for everyone!

The line was crazy long but surprisingly our party of three was sat in less than 25 mins. Turns out you order your food with the hostess/cashier before you sit at your table. The prices here are very fair for the quality and portions of food you receive. I got the classic breakfast and it was pretty good! One problem was I asked for over medium and my egg whites were undercooked. My hash browns came out like mashed potatoes (which is simply a personal pet peeve of mine with hash browns) so I wasn’t a fan, but my friend liked them a lot. The fruit was super fresh and my bacon was thick cut and cooked to perfection! The sangrias were really good! I asked the cashier if they did pitchers and they said no, they only sold by the glass. I was disappointed to find out later on from a server that they had some type of bottomless deal, I wish the cashier would have offered this as an option after telling me they don’t have pitchers. The dulce de leche coffee I got was phenomenal! My friend ordered a matcha coffee and she really enjoyed it. I wish they had other nondairy options besides oat milk, but at least they have something. My friend and her daughter enjoyed their food as well, which came included french toast. Servers and other workers were all incredibly nice and approachable. I love the yellow colors everywhere, the ambiance is laid back and inviting. We didn’t wait long at all to be seated, order, receive our food and pay the bill. I will definitely be back again and again.

Pictured are the steak & eggs and classic breakfasts with fresh orange juice and spring sangria. My son and I enjoyed it. It's a cool little spot to enjoy a quick brunch. I say quick because they have a 1 hour limit to your dining. Which is enough time to eat. You order your food first before you sit down. It's best to pull up the menu before you arrive so you know what you want to order when you get there. Prices are ok. Spent $58 for everything in the picture. Hope my review is helpful. Any questions, feel free to ask :)

You stand in line to place your order and pay and then they sit you down and you wait for your food. The food was delicious. However you do have to buy everything separately instead of combos. The pancakes were so soft, filling, and sweet. They also had a few different eggs Benedict.

Stopped by on Friday early afternoon for brunch with my friend. There was a 15-20 mins wait, in line, outside. Once inside, we ordered and sat down in their cute outside patio. Food (and mimosas) were brought out very quickly and everything was delicious. Would come back again!
