Garage Grill is a seriously cool vibe. They've gone above and beyond to make it unique. The service was generally excellent and the food came out quickly especially for a group of 7.
Food was creative, but tasted average. Flavors were generally tame and lacking. I tried the spinach dip, tempura shishito peppers, and sushi nachos w/ mango. All of the dishes tried needed more flavor, more salt, and more spice. People in my party all generally enjoyed their meal though.
We love Garage Grill. Our food is always delicious, and if something is even slightly wrong, they do everything they can't to fix it. The kids love it here. My favorite is the BLT with over easy egg, but I have yet to meet a sandwich that isn't yummy. Also some of the best tots and restaurant ranch around. Wonderful servers to boot!
Racecar themed restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices. Very (over?) attentive server. Met up with friends we hadn't seen for years and it was nice to be able to have a conversation without being drowned out by the background music - which was decent music. Would dine here again.
I liked this place. We had a great time. There is alot to look at here. I had the ribs, they were good but alot of cartilage. My wife had the salmon and she really liked it. Our table also had a steak sandwich, totchoes, nachos, a laguna Seca burger that ask received high praise. We will come back to try other items.
This place was great. Really cool theme and the food was good. We got the brisket sandwich and the sushi nachos. The sandwich was okay, the tots were good, and the sushi nachos were SO good. Get the sushi nachos.
A lot of people have no idea, but the sushi here was added by a legitimate sushi chef who set it up so that everything is made from scratch, traditional techniques to make the rice and vinegar and sauces. FRESH fish is brought in 2 times per week and sliced up whole in store. Some of the best sushi in Utah rn, and I'm a sushi chef from hawaii, so im a tough critic. Their tuna melts in your mouth
Took my son here for his 16th birthday. It's an awesome place with cool sports cars and racing memorabilia all over. Super cool atmosphere but the food was just OK. The BBQ sauce on our wings was good but not my favorite, and the chicken meat was too tough. I also had the dirt track burger and it was good, but needed more gravy on it. My son got the Mustang burger and loved it. My wife got the pork tacos and liked them but said they were lacking flavor. Very cool place that I will try again and order a different food item in hopes it is better.
Our server Aaron rocked! Very attentive. Recommended the Bump Draft roll.. hands down, best sushi I’ve ever had!! The Limo & Firebird rolls are also really good! Caesar salad and edamame did not disappoint either. This place is great & the decor is cool & unique. Anyone leaving less than 5 stars.. just wants to complain. After the great experience we had, I can’t believe anything less than five stars. I only wish we had a Garage in Boston! If we are ever back in Utah, We will be coming back. Easy, causal atmosphere. Great staff. Clean.
Awesome experience. Great food and great portions. Great value. Food was a bit slow, but to be expected on a Friday night. Dustin had AWESOME service. Happy!
Great food
From burgers to sushi, everything is delicious. The staff is friendly and incredible. The atmosphere is unique and very interesting.

Still a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. We could smell the smoker going and that got my wife craving some smoked meat. She got the Apex BBQ brisket sandwich. It had amazing bark, was incredibly tender, and so delicious. I got the Late Brake Steak sandwich. I also highly recommend it. Both pictured.
I also had a Steamroller Ale. Crisp and delicious. Nice citrus and malt notes. Finishes clean with a grapefruit element.

The food and service have not diminished. We love this place. My wife keeps wanting to come back for the brisket sandwich. I like to try new things. Today I had the Le Sarthe Black and Bleu burger with onion rings and a 2Hops 2 Furious Belgian style ale. All was so tasty. Our server was Aaron and was perfect.
Service was stellar and clearly something they focus on. The onion rings were as close to perfect as I've had. The brisket was tender and had a nice crisp flavorful edge. In my case the brisket was in the form of tacos. Definitely somewhere to go back to with a number of interesting things to try. The decor was car, particularly racing car oriented. There were televisions showing sports. I'm not personally a fan of TVs in restaurants because it distracts from conversations and the food.
If you love cars and racing, this is the place! Every square inch is covered in paraphernalia. They have actual cars inside. They rotate the car collection to keep it fresh. Burgers are really good. Sushi is ok. It's a bit overpriced for bar food.
My wife and I went in i saw this place through Instagram on a slcfoodie thing. I love cars so it was right up my alley. It's an awesome vibe cool cars the whole thing even to the napkins as shop rags. The waiter we had was super nice and helpful. Food was great and the smoked wings had some subtle flavors that great just the right taste of something smoked. We ordered the chop shop burger with a fried egg and avocado and my wife got the formula one grilled cheese that had brisket on it!
My nephew loves the Garage Grill ! When we go out , he always pick this restaurant. He loves their cheese steak sandwiches & beef brisket nachos. Great service & friendly staff ! Lots of items on the menu. I love all of their sandwiches, but their chicken fried steak is my favorite . Fun place to hang out . Cool stuff to look at too. I like unwinding there with a shot of good whiskey & a plate of yummy food . Go there , folks , I promise you , you’ll leave there satisfied & happy. It is always good to “pause “ a bit from our hectic world , so if I were you , Garage grill will be your place !
Eating at the Garage Grill was an interesting experience. The decor is amusing and portions are generous.
The menu is unusual as well, with an offering of many craft beers, burgers, and sushi as well.
I ordered a plate of sushi nachos, which was surprisingly good. I also attempted to consume a "Winners Circle" burger, which was much bigger than I anticipated. I ended up eating separating the patties because I can't unhinge my jaw. My main suggestions would be to make the patties a little thinner on that. Also, it would be nice to serve small cups of fry sauce, instead of a bottle for the table that *someone* in my group (you know who you are) greedily refused to share.
All in all a good experience.
It is tough to earn 5 stars at times. And one burger does not speak to the huge variety of menu items available at Garage Grill. I like to eat here for group lunches because there has got to be something for everyone with all the choices available. It’s a grill. A few people at the table said they were told by others not to order the sushi here. So out of 10 people, no one ordered sushi. I ordered the spicy Hot Lap burger and it was delicious. We had salads, veggie wraps, wings, sandwiches, and more. So for variety, this is the place.
Everything was so good here, food was so well seasoned, portions are really big… but the customer service 10/10. With my friend we were setting and they were moving some furniture so they had to open a lot the door. It was pretty cold, so they said they were sorry and even got us free dessert the make it up. Definitely coming back again.
