Good food, good price, cannot go wrong. If you're driving by, it's worth a stop. Home style diner feeling. Tried the open face hot roast beef, that was good. Also had jalapeño poppers and unfortunately, they were not cooked and cold. However, I'm not going to hold this against them as i dont think they are using the correct batter, worth a stop for sure. Ignir parking in the truck maintenance lot, dont let it change your opinion to give it a try.
Food was excellent! Portions were huge and the price was great. Couldn't even finish everything I got and I would have taken it home but we had a 3 and a half hour drive home. Don't let the outside fool you...it's worth it!
This place is truly a hidden gem. Our waitress was so kind & sweet. The food was amazing, huge portions, fresh products used to make the food & a great bargain!
I was at beech mountain for the weekend and stop there Sunday and Monday morning. The breakfast was really good and the staff are really friendly. If I am up that way again I will definitely stop back. There biscuits and sausage gravy is terrific!!!
Was driving back home to northern Wisconsin. I was tired of fast food and wanted a good old family restaurant. Saw a sign and nestled in back of a truck repair yard was this welcoming building housing one of the nicest places I have ever stopped at. Both me and my wife enjoyed our waitress and a menu that had a nice variety of dishes. We had a very good breakfast with enough left over for when we got home. Super good food! Staff is really nice and had no problem serving a party of 8 pretty fast. Had to try the scrapple and I've become a believer. All the food was delicious! We ordered the strawberry french toast (just the right amount of sweet), country fried steak ( the steak was still crunchy underneath and the gravy is really good, slathered it on my potatoes), kielbasa omelettte, biscuits and gravy, and a cheese steak omelettte. I wish we lived close to Pennsylvania! Thank you Mary's for a great brunch to start our trek back to Detroit.
My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way home for breakfast. Needless to say, the food was fantastic !!! I got one of the everything omlettes and she got the perogie omlettes. I never seen any other place have perogies in omlettes, she let me have bite and I fell in love with it. I need that again in my life it was so good !!!
