Little gem of a restaurant in Temple Bar. Nduja croquettes for starter are delicious. I had the prawn spaghetti for mains and it was very tasty plus portions are large. Only issue was the service was very slow, 1 hour to get our starter but it was a Saturday night and the week before Christmas so it was extremely busy so I can forgive them that. Will definitely be back and a place I would highly recommend.
The food at this establishment was undeniably delicious, satisfying my cravings for authentic Italian cuisine. The dishes were expertly prepared, showcasing the flavors and techniques that make Italian food so beloved.
The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of the meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with cozy lighting and tasteful decor that evoked a sense of Italy. It created a relaxing environment to enjoy the culinary delights on offer.
However, there were a few aspects that prevented me from fully immersing myself in an Italian dining experience. Firstly, I couldn't help but notice that the waitresses were not Italian. While their service was professional and friendly, I couldn't help but miss the unique charm and cultural authenticity that Italian waitstaff often bring to the table.
Furthermore, I found it disappointing that a simple tradition such as serving water with espresso was absent. This attention to detail is a characteristic feature of Italian dining, and its absence was noticeable. Additionally, some of the menu items were not pronounced correctly, most notably the bruschetta. It would have been wonderful to hear the authentic pronunciation of this classic dish
I had a wonderful experience at this cozy restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and authentic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We started with garlic bread and goat cheese and we never could imagine something that good. I ordered the tortellini and she had the risotto, our best experience with Italian food. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, but the space in the basement makes all the difference. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy Italian restaurant. I dare to say this was the best gastronomic experience we had.
OMG. Where do I even start… the ambiance in the bottom cavern is so intimate and such a great spot for a date. Right in the heart of the Temple bar district without feeling dirty or crowded. The food was absolutely amazing! We originally came for just a glass of wine and ended up staying for a bottle, appetizers, dinner and dessert to go! Highly recommend! 5 stars
Every time that we come over here has been simply spectacular! The food is to die for, especially the brownie and the bolognese. The service is always top notch and the cellar vibe is great too. Would definitely recommend!
Very welcoming Staff, good atmosphere. Our starter was bruschetta and was delicious, for main course we ordered Italian risotto what as pretty good and Carbonara I've to say that the carbonara wasn't good, It didn't tasty like a carbonara but I have to say the size of the portions was good and the Wine was good too.
Absolutely fantastic place food is proper and hit and delicious staff are pleasant and friendly must visit place if you like Italian 👍
Gorgeous fresh food, a really great find, reasonably priced and lovely friendly waitress. We all had pasta of various varieties and everyone loved their choice. We definitely will be back when visiting again.
Nice experience eating blind folded, the food was perfect and we did with a big group of 40 people, everyone liked and recommended, well done, even with lights on we are not able to see the food and made the experience amazing!
