Treehouse Coffee Co is a hidden GEM 💎 Offering a unique blend of cozy coffee and delectable breakfast delights, while in a cozy, atmosphere. The treehouse theme adds to the charm, and the outdoor seating surrounded by trees enhances the experience. Don't miss out on their mouthwatering buttermilk fried chicken biscuit; it's a must-try!

We wanted to run into Duck for breakfast and this looked like it would have the best coffee. Parking was easy. The line to order was long and took about 15 minutes to get through. Then after that it was another 25 minutes to receive the order, which we were warned about. My wife enjoyed her coffee. Good, not great, way better than hotel/resort coffee. She got the crab cake sandwich with avocado and couldn't stop singing its praises. I got the sausage and gravy. They serve it on their peach biscuits, which is almost distracting at first, but after a few bites it melds very well with the slight kick in their sausage gravy, which seems to have maybe a little Sriracha in it? The side of bacon was huge, with crazy thick cut slices of smokey wonderful bacon. Definitely worth it if you can take the time. The shopping center around this place is awesome. Most of the stores don't open until 10:00 or 10:30 am and some aren't open on Sundays, but they have awesome tables and chairs everywhere and it's shady and magical, with a little stream running through.

Best coffee in Duck but not my favorite for all of OBX. Great location. The biscuit sándwiches are absolutely unbelievable. My daughter and I should have shared one! Definitely a nice spot for a vacation. Breakfast place.

The food is really, really good. The coffee is very strong, almost like weirdly strong and the wait can be pretty long for New Yorkers like me…but whatever…the biscuits and dog friendliness makes it worth it

This one is a must visit! Wonderful staff and great outdoor seating. Best French toast I've ever had, their cold brew is also very good. If you're dining and not just getting coffee in then sit inside, flies tend to swarm.

Really enjoyed our brunch here while visiting. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was really good. We had a party of 9 and thought it would be a while since they had a sign that said orders could take up to 45 minutes but we got drinks quickly and food in about 20-25, which wasn’t bad at all. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the chicken sandwich and it was super crispy and delicious. Biscuits were huge and really good. Others that got the egg sandwiches couldn’t eat all of because the portions were large. Coffees and teas were perfect. The outdoor area was shady and cool despite it being a hot day - the area around was cute and we walked all the shops afterwards. I’d recommend and go back if in town again.

Best breakfast sandwich anywhere! Well worth any time you may have to wait, don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise . Just outstanding!

Great - the best - biscuits and stout latte (yum) but order messed up due to cash register and waited a long time. Also no longer have ceramic mugs and way too many disposables - prob leftover from Covid days would be nice to see less of that now. A popular spot. Yummy!

We have come here almost every day on vacation for many years. Highly recommended! Specialty Coffee; iced or hot, you can’t go wrong. Biscuits; I dream about these all year long. So tasty. Atmosphere; tucked away in the trees of the quaint Scarborough area, this place is such a gem.

The best, and this is an understatement, but THE BEST biscuit sandwiches I’ve had in my entire life. They make them fresh to order everyday and all the ingredients are top tier. The bacon is half an inch thick, the avocado is ripe, the crab cakes run out before noon and their coffee game is on point. Check this place out if you love brunch, breakfast and biscuits. It’s the best spot on Duck for brunch, hands down. Plenty of parking in the back and a lovely courtyard with lights and live music to enjoy your meal.

Don’t bring your family of 9 here and expect it to be a McDonalds, you’ll annoy everyone else that’s there to enjoy real good food. Patience. Breading on the chicken is very good. Obvi, biscuits are legit. They move the line quick to order but they take their time to make the food right. If you place an online order do it about an hour early and then go pick it up if you are too impatient to wait. Coffee was good too!

The biscuit sandwiches here are no joke. When you see it’s $10+ for a breakfast sandwich you might be like…pass. But it’s worth it. The coffee was solid and the chocolate crumb cake was one of the best deserts my wife ever had. Highly recommend this place and worth the trip and the limited hours.

My wife and I enjoy a good independent coffee shop so while we were in Duck we tried most of them. Treehouse was the clear winner for both location and quality. Their lattes are excellent! They have a wide variety of syrups to choose from. They are flavorfull and well made. There are also plenty of food options. Their biscuit sandwiches are delicious. One note: The biscuits fall apart very easily and are messy. I recommend eating there or at home as opposed to in a car. Finally, the seating around the location is lovely! Lots of natural shade from trees, plenty of seating, and even a small man-made stream. I highly recommend this place.

Best biscuits on the Outer Banks! Love the local sourced ingredients and healthy focus. The chicken biscuit is my favorite and my daughters love the honey biscuits. Really nice to sit in the shade and eat as well.

The Chorizo Smash sandwich is probably the best sandwich I have had in a long time. It is clear the sandwich was crafted by a true professional that knows what they are doing. The price was a bit high, but that was expected being in the tourist rich area we were visiting.
