This diner is easily THE BEST diner I have EVER eaten at. The service is good, the decor is retro, and the food is slamming. To put it in perspective, I have easily eaten here more over the course of two years than all of the other restaurants in MD, combined! (Ok, that might be a slight exaggeration) I've had the Corned Beef Hash, the Olympic Salad, Meatloaf platter, along with many other items on the menu. Above all, my favorite is the Spinach Pie. For only $12 you get an enormous slice of pie, a greek salad, and rice! Sometimes when I order it this meal, I order a to go box right along with it. The Spinach Pie is the star of the show. I am not even sure how to describe it. The phyllo dough, the ricotta to feta cheese mixture, the spinach, the dill ... 🤤 Sorry, lost my train of thought. It hits all the notes perfectly. If the entree happens to leave a little room in your stomach, you can always fill it with one of their house made desserts that their on site baker makes 😮 I mean, this diner really puts those over priced chain restaurants to shame. If you are ever in MD, you have to go check this place out!

I’ve been there twice. Both times food was on point. I’ve had breakfast and dinner there and everyone I was with was raving about their food. (Minus the soup— not sure if it was just that night...?)

Always awesome food and service! We live 365 miles away, and every time we visit Baltimore, we always stop at The Boulevard Diner! The Chesapeake Omelette is totally awesome and full of crab meat!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!!

My husband and I stopped by for a light lunch. We ordered from a menu that served smaller portions. I was surprised at how large the smaller portions were. Very generous servings. I enjoyed a delicious tomato bisque soup with a half Philly cheesesteak. My husband had the open face turkey and mashed potato lunch. I tasted everything and it was all so good. Also had that "diner" atmosphere which made it the perfect lunch spot!

UPSIDE: Great throwback building design. Atmosphere is wonderful. Friendly staff. Very diverse menu. DOWNSIDE: It was our first visit. Waitress was nice, but could not get her to bus the table. Table was constantly covered in finished plates and empty glasses. She's being refills without being asked but ahead left the empties. Desserts came over five minutes apart. OVERALL: Fun place. Decent good. Will definitely go back!

First time eating at the Boulevard Diner, so when I saw Crazy Bird Sandwich on the menu, I had to try it ...blackened chicken breast topped with baked crab dip & cheddar cheese on a kaiser roll. All I can say is it was really good. And the French Fries were perfect! Very friendly staff too.

Update: They are back open! Went again and the food was good as usual. Every time we go, the food is delicious. And who doesn't like a diner vibe. The portions are huge and there is always enough to take for leftovers. The staff is always friendly and the prices are actually not bad. My husband raved about the meatloaf and the mashed potatoes and gravy. I had a bite and I must say it was delicious. Not every place can make great gravy in my opinion. My brother-in-law came from out of town and we took him there and he wanted to go back another night. We tried to go the other day but they were closed for renovations. I'll have to check to see if they're open again.

When I was a kid, growing up in Baltimore, we went to the classic diners like Bel Loc, Double T and Overlea. Those same years, my grandfather would make me cream chipped beef on toast for breakfast. This is a great homage to those legendary diners and that sort of diner food. Give it a go, you won't regret it. (My dad said his burger was as good as my plate).

This place definitely has style! It's got that old 50s dinner feel -- probably because it is! The food options are plentiful and the staff during our visit was helpful and patient. The food quality can be hit or miss at dinners. I'm happy to report my meal was properly cooked. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes -- the inside was cooked through!

Came in on 4/8/2022…. Sat at the booth right behind Elvis.. I had a young man as my server. I don’t want to mess up his name. He was the only male server while I was there @ 9:50 am. I had 2 eggs over medium x Home Fries x Canadian Bacon. It was delish. My homefried needs peppers and onions in them. I love home fries … Thank you… I will be back

It’s important to remember that it’s 5:00 somewhere so you won’t ever have to wonder if you should order the Merritt Mary. You most certainly should have one every time you go. It is my favorite Bloody Mary in the city so far. Others are good but I assure that the grilled Bar-B-Q shrimp on the top along with the other fresh veggies & pickles make this one truly special. For me this drink and the warm reception makes this a five star diner. I could live without the Elvis sound track but it is a diner! By the way, I have ordered desserts first just to make sure I have room. They are on display when you walk in and you need to have some. The plates at this diner are filling. If you’re not a big eater plan on a to go box. Breakfast is our favorite although I order lunch or dinner. I can make eggs so always get something I’m not likely to make. Today I ordered the Neptune sandwich which is a crab cake, shrimp salad + BLT club! Okay don’t judge me. It was good and hardy. I took half to eat later because the Merritt Mary is 22oz. So let’s talk about the wait staff— top notch! Attentive and responsive. Watching them can make you dizzy because they swirl around the place getting every little thing you want with your meal & they remember the regulars.
