Ordered 8 pies and 18 garlic rolls for my daughters 2nd birthday.. every single person was very happy with the pizza asking me where it was and such and I have to give a great review pizza and garlic knots were all cooked perfect it was still hot hot when it got to the house and honestly you cannot beat the prices at all thank you so much to the owners for doing such an amazing job and the place inside was very clean and brought me back in time have a board from the early 1900’s of prices back then cool to see! Thank you again
My preferred pizza in central NJ. Perfect crust with a nice crisp tomato sauce, best topping is easily the Italian sausage, which is crumbled and keeps you coming back
Rome has really good pizza friendly place to eat they have lunch special two slices of pizza and a soda $4.50. cozy little pizzeria in dunellen New Jersey. Cash Only
It's the classic pizza that gives New Jersey its reputation of where you go when you want that Tri-State Area pizza you know from your childhood. If you look up the top 10 pizza places in Manhattan, none of them will have that traditional pizza from the area, since it's all about innovating, but it's hard to improve on perfection, and Rome seems aware of that fact.
Love their garlic knots and pizza. Thin crust. Extra cheesy. Perfect!! I always order my pie and they have it ready within 20 mins. Good place.
Best pizza in Jersey and possibly the world. Dare I say that. Nice spot, easy going and friendly people. It's a must when we're in town. Can't live without it.
Hands down the perfect ratio of sauce cheese and dough! Every ounce of Fame has been well-earned by Rome Pizza
When a pizza place stays in business through multiple generations of one family you have to know that the pizza speaks for itself. There is pizza joints just about everywhere but how many do you actually know that just sell amazing pizza.
50+ years and this small town staple is still going strong. I've literally been supporting this local family owned business for 30 years.
As a matter of fact I can't think of any other pizza shop in my local area that's been in business for 50 years.
Not once in 30 years has John and his family ever disappointed me. I used to eat there when I was just a kid in grade school and they still allowed the kids to leave school at lunch time.
