Absolutely delicious! I only tried 4 tacos but I can't wait to go back for huaraches. Definitely try a steak taco.

Authentic. Delicious. Affordable. Three words that describe this amazing taqueria! I was told about this spot from a friend and said it is a must visit and it so is. Taqueria La Vaquita is tiny meaning if you blink you will miss this gem on the corner. The gem is a larger trailer with two windows and menus on the outside detailing all the goodness they have going on inside. There is outside seating, but they have to go options as well. I decided to get three tacos with all beans and chips and salsa. The three tacos I got was the Pollo, al pastor, and beef. Wow!! The tacos are small, but pack a lot of flavor in each bite. The meat is grilled to perfection with the cilantro, cabbages, and onions making a great side appearance as well. They give you just enough food to satisfy and a little left over to fill that satisfaction again! And for only $13?!? Yes!! Such a great go to spot!! A must while in the Durham area!

Always tasty. Taco plate is sized nicely for a small meal. Prices have gone up recently, but they're still well worth it.

Good true Mexican food at fair prices. I had enchiladas poblanas with chicken and mole. Generous portion. There's no indoor seating, so prepare to sit outdoors. Although there are some covered seats, it can get quite hot sitting outdoors.

Everything was amazing, they were super busy but the food came out fast and was delicious. I got the Birria tacos and they were juicy, messy, and so yummy! My friend had the steak tacos and ordered the birrias to go (they were SO GOOD!) Everything was fresh, salsas were so great. Can't wait to be back in Durham to go here again!

Love this place! Has authentic Mexican food, none of that Tex Mex food. All Gorditas and tortillas are handmade. I've had the burrito, tacos, gorditas and pupusas and they're all delicious. If you come around lunch time on the weekend expect to wait since there can be a line and everything is made fresh. They only have outdoor seating and they do deliver. The food still tastes amazing even when delivered. This is my go-to Mexican Spot.
