One of my favorite spots in Durham! Great location in the heart of a historic part of downtown, Kaffeinate is an excellent place to grab a seat and hang out or buy a drink and walk around the area. Very reasonable prices. Family friendly. Laptop friendly with plenty of outlets. Staff is authentically friendly.

It is a very nice place to get work done. Fast service which is true. Order an iced coffee but added other things to it in the small station in the back. The cinnamon roll was alright, I had better ones before. Will come back here again!

Nice, quiet coffee house. Barista is nice. Had a mint mocha, which was perfectly made. Coffee does not taste burnt like large chain places. Highly recommend if you have some time to burn in Durham.

It wasn’t crowded around 11:30 AM on a Saturday. Good mocha and great waffles, both served quickly. Cozy atmosphere with a nice street view.

Very quite coffee house. Nice to be able to sit and enjoy an espresso drink. They offer drip and pour-overs (but neither can be de-caf) and teas. Espresso drinks can be made without caffeine. Nice selection of pastries, and they are offering made from scratch belgin waffels

Great coffee and pastries, with new recipes popping up all the time. They'll heat the pastries up for you as well. I'm a huge fan of their scones.
