What a cute little bakery this place is. We've passed by here before and they were closed so we made note to come back and I'm glad we did. We got a chocolate chip cookie with their apple bread which was very very good. And then we got a Caesar salad which was a bit pricey at $14. And we also got a personal Pizza cheese Which was delicious.
Amazing selection of baked goods including bread and many pastries. We had the shakshuka from the brunch menu (which features a variety of sandwiches options) and it was very tasty. Lively place on weekend mornings. What a great community destination!
Elm St is a hub of community in EA- the barista, Steve, pulls the best cappuccinos and lattes, and honestly puts love and care into every cup. The sourdough is off the hook- they turn it into everything from baguette to English muffins, rye with caraway, and gorgeous, crusty farmers loaves. They make lots of pastries, croissants, cakes, rolls, and cookies- all home made and good quality. The wood fired pizza is thin and tasty, but barring the cup and char pepperoni this pizza is definitely not akin to "Buffalo" style, leaning more towards Farm to Table, with more sophisticated toppings (and a price to match.) They have local brews on tap, nice wine, and a cute evolving food case with gorgeous cakes and local eggs, cheese, and a few of their salads and dressings to go. This place is always busy- but not open Sunday and Monday, so they're missing out on what would probably be a lit Sunday brunch scene. Get there earlier if you want local faves (and mine) like their Jambon beurre sandwich or foccaccias. Expect the basic EA bougie crowd, with a parking lot full of Teslas and Subarus.
All I had was the blackberry white chocolate tart, but it was really good. Will definitely go back and try some other things. * The dent in the tart was from me, not the bakery.
Who doesn't want a rustic chic bakery with fresh breads, pastries, non run of the mill food and amazing coffee... Wait did I mention the coffee. That man that makes that coffee, he has magic, coffee shouldn't taste that good and he is pleasant and the conversation while you wait for your coffee is superb.
Ladies at the counter are always helpful and always nice.
Great for a coffee with Friends or grab a bite to eat. Outdoor seating with fire cooked pizzas...also a must after a stroll from surrounding shops.
I’ve been coming to this place for a few years every time I’m in the area and the food is absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough about ANY dish or bakery item we tried. Everything tastes amazing! Prices are good and service very attentive and welcoming. The location is also very nicely decorated and cozy.
This gem in East Aurora is a must visit not just for the delicious baked goods but also the well crafted drinks and flavor packed dishes on the menu.
On our visit we tried the oysters, octopus, pizza and sandwiches. All of which were superb. I was more than impressed with the octopus which was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with the sauce and potatoes it came with.
And the plating and service did not go unrecognized. Looking forward to trying more of what they offer on my next visit.
