Don't make it here often, but when we do, It's a super fantastic restaurant!!Waitress on spot, food service fast, The flavors are the Best!!!I would recommend Burger Barge to anyone 😋
I had wings, shrimp skewers, and a burger. Everything was very good. Nice place for a walk. Friendly people. Seems to only be open on the weekend, but I'm glad I stopped in. Food was great, and the site was cool to see. I highly recommend checking this place out when in the Peoria area!
This was our first visit and they did not disappoint. Wonderful selection of burgers, and it was $2 raspberry margaritas day, yummy.
Just an FYI, the big Kahuna burger was as round as my big German noggN (maybe not but it was big). You can definitely split it. Fried clams were good too.
Be careful women when using the restroom, you may get stuck in there as the door seems to stick. Makes for a funny story though. We will definitely be back
i was impressed with the size of there burgers. it had great flavor and was juicy. my only complain would be to keep it a little more clean inside.
The food was spectacular even though the restaurant wasn’t that great looking. Its designed as a barge shack and the decor really brings in the feel. It has a welcoming small burger place atmosphere. The staff were amazing and friendly. They kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely not a place to judge based on appearance because you will miss the delicious and creative burger combinations. I had the steak and egg burger that was so delicious and filling. The funnel cake fries are a must have with plenty of powdered sugar (hint - ask for more and they give you a side of powdered sugar) The music was great and outside tables were clean.

Took a friend there today, since he had never been there and he loves hamburgers. Been a few years since I had been there also. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but filled up fast with customers right after that. My friend ordered the Andre burger combo and I ordered the Treasure Island Burger combo. Our meals were superb! Quality ingredients for sure. I was disappointed with my ice tea. It was supposed to be fresh brewed, but it sure wasn't. Even McDonald's and Creve Coeur Thornton's knows how to brew very good tea. This wasn't it. All in all we had a fantastic meal and the atmosphere devine. In fact my friend order the same burger combo to take home. Boy can he put it away! God willing we will be back, but it must have taken at least 40 minutes to get the burger combo to take home. It was no wonder, since the customers were lined up from inside the building way out into the parking lot when we left.
Update: Dined there today with my buddy Darryl again. Hamburgers were as fantastic as ever. What can I say.
Still believe this is the best burger in Peoria area! I had the Illinois (grilled onions, mushrooms, bacon and colby-jack cheese with their River Chips (homemade chips). Dock sauce is delicious. Burger was perfect: bun toasted to perfection, big beef patty was juicy and delicious. They are understaffed at the moment, but everyone was efficient and friendly. Still my very favorite atmosphere in all of the Midwest: Jimmy Buffet meets the Beach Boys in a cornfield on the riverbank. 😉 Love this place.
