I had to give 5 stars. However, I do have a major complaint. We ordered fajitas and when they did not come out with sour cream, we asked for it. When we got the bill, they charged us $2.50 for a small dollop!!
The waitress said, it's high, but oh, well.
A glass of Iced tea is $3.50! Some prices are good, but some are astronomical.
It would be a shame if this type of pricing effects their brand new location's success.
Wow. I'm gonna go ahead and say it, but this is the best pizza I've had on the Eastern Shore. More details to come, but wanted to get that out of the way first. My wife and I popped in for dinner on a Monday evening, after getting a recommendation from some friends. We weren't expecting such a comprehensive menu, with tons of awesome options for whatever mood you're in. The chips and salsa were great, and they serve a lime crema with them that is AMAZING. My wife got the al pastor tacos, and they were absolutely loaded, with a ton of grilled onions, pineapple, and great pieces of pork. I was feeling a bit more adventurous, and was craving a pizza that I used to serve at a restaurant I worked at, and Veronica, our EXCELLENT server was more than happy to oblige and make me an off-menu specialty, and it was truly great. The crust on this pizza was nearly perfect, with a great crunch, good flavor, and plenty of toppings. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying some of the other things iny the menu, like the burgers and Tortas.
PS: If you want to try something amazing and a little different from what you usually have, get a plain white pizza with spinach and finely chopped tomatoes, then have them top the pizza with an order of fried calamari, and then drizzle it with the crema sauce. Just ask for a Ryan, and enjoy!!
Decided to check out Genesis when we saw the neighboring restaurant was unavailable, and glad we did. The portions were very hearty and delicious. The pizza in the picture was a medium but about the size of a large at any other pizza place.
Food was really good. Sausage roll was 15 inches long, enough for three meals. Chili relleno was amazing. Good service. Only complaint: music too loud
Loved it, great service and food was superb. I ordered something off the menu and they made it. Constant check ups to see all was good, refill on drinks.
I ordered pepperoni mushrooms shrimp pizza, was delicious, rest of the food came out great. Good portion servings. Food was a wait but fresh good food takes time. Complementary Salsa and chips was good and fresh.
This is the first Mexican cuisine that I have ever had that had a beautiful presentation. (They have Italian dishes too) The food is excellent and authentic, not the Tex- Mex that is found in most restaurants in the area. The staff is so willing to do well, I have been asked how I would suggest making my experience better.
I am only giving this a 4 star because they are having a few growing pains as last night was packed for the first time since I have been there ( this is my 4th experience). I have no doubt they will be a 5 star soon.
The atmosphere was pleasant.
They serve Italian, Mexican, and American food. I had a hamburger and French fries. It was really good. My mom had the philly cheese steak wrap with fries, and she enjoyed it. The fajitas are like most other places and were good as well. I will come back for sure.
We were in Easton downtown for the first time and stumbled across this great little multi cuisine shop. The food was good and the service was good. Easton is beautiful so sitting outside and eating was a good plus for us. Try it out. We will again. One side note and advice for the kitchen, cook the sausage until tender. It's tough when it comes out. An hour or two in the steamer or some sauce will do the trick.
After trying Genesis for the first time, I am sad I have not been here before!! Both the service and the food was outstanding. We ate outside, The chips and bread that they provide before the meal were fresh and delicious. The salsa was flavorful and the right amount of heat. The FOOD,, You need to try the shredded chicken tacos! Amazing! We also got the Chile Rellenos, the BEST I have had so far!! Also the Taquitos which were crispy, they had a beautiful salad on top and were extremely good. Thank for the amazing service and atmosphere you provided. If you are in the area this is a must try, they also have changing specials on the weekends and a extensive Italian menu to try.

Food plating was entertaining. Thr food was tasty alittle too much lime. We had the sizzling bowl with catcus steak chicken and shrimp. The black beans (side) were tasteless and rice was dry. Bread and chips were cold and didnt tadte fresh. The waitress was attentive until crowd picked up. Restroom needed to be clean. I decided to hold it.
Great cuisine, both the Mexican and Italian menus are excellent, very friendly staff.
I'm a huge fan of Genesis, been to the Dover St. location many times. I decided to try the new location on 50 today and I was not disappointed. Genesis has done it once again with their delicious pizza. I couldn't decide between a the taco pizza or a traditional Margarita so I got both on one pie. It came out quick despite the special order. The medium is huge and I had leftovers. 10/10 will absolutely be back and highly recomend.
Awesome experience! Quick service and friendly staff!
This place has a huge menu consisting of mostly Mexican and Italian food. The quality is hit or miss. However, the food is generally good. It's a good option for families with picky eaters because the menu is so vast.
