My wife and I were looking for good pizza place for date night, and wanted something different from Hideaway. Bottom line, our service and pizza was so terrific, I doubt we'll need Hideaway again. You can split the pizza in fourths like a sampler and every one of them was awesome. De fuego was a great surprise. :) Also try the greek salad. It's like a meal by itself.
The pizza is good. Love the homemade ranch dressing. The salads are absolutely delicious. I ALWAYS get a house salad when I go. My most recent visit did have a surprise though... There was a rather large muddy twig in my date's salad. He got the salad comped, but no visit from a manager. 1 out of 15 visits, I guess something was bound to happen.

The service was great, waitress was very attentive. The lunch special was a good deal. A drink, salad, and a 6" personal pizza. I got the house pa's garlic salad. The dressing was good, the salad was fresh and surprisingly large. The pizza was okay. The crust could have been baked a bit longer. The toppings were good. I got the sooner pizza which was good, but it was greasy which it is expected since it is all meat so it was expected. The sauce was decent. Overall it's a good place to check out.
I use to drive to Purcell to gets Jo's pizza but now I can save the gas and get the same food. Service was good and the food was outstanding sorry Purcell location they got u beat and being local saves the money on gas and can be spent on a appetizer!!! Now only if they served dessert pizza this would the best pizza joint in Oklahoma.

Keep coming back. I eat a lot of salads. I've discovered a great salad here. I can order a salad and then select additional items for the salad at a nominal price and end up with a wonderfully fresh, crisp, delightful salad at a very reasonable price. The servings are generous and very tasty. The pizza I've sampled was also very good. We've had good service here as well. I'm surprised at some negative comments about either the food or the service because we've repeatedly found both to be quite acceptable. We are genuinely glad to have discovered this gem.
Great everything!!. Jo's Famous Pizza is an excellent place to go. The service was fast, friendly and fantastic. I love their pizza, it is by far the best that I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back.
Jo's Rocks. It doesn't get any better than Jo's combo. Jo's pizza is always consistent and good. Have always been taken care of.

Our favorite pizza place. I've grown up as a pizza fan. Ask anyone in my family....it's my favorite food. We are now spoiled!! Jo's blows all the other pizza chain restaurants out of the water! The fresh ingredients and the made to order crust keep us coming back for more. Give this one a try. You won't be disapointed!!
I have been to 3 of the now 4 locations. We would make a day of driving down to Purcell just for Jo's pizza. Worth the drive no matter which one you choose.

Best Pizza in Edmond!. Originally in Purcell but now also in Edmond. I don't think a lot of people know about this place. It is the best pizza in Edmond and their salads are awesome. Get the Cowboy pizza and a salad with Pa's Garlic dressing and you will not be disappointed. They also have great lunch specials that are very reasonably priced. They are located off of Kelly between 2nd and 15th street. You gotta try it!
Thumbs Up from the Big Man. My dad is a hard man to please when it comes to food, so finding places to take him when he comes to town can prove difficult. Last year during a visit, I decided to let him try Jo's. Success! Now he requests it every time he visits. The pizza has tons of toppings and the salad is just plain good. Two Thumbs up from our family!

Good pizza. First time to try this place, we had the combination pizza. Very good service and overall impression. Was disappointed that they did not serve beer. The pizza was loaded with toppings and very good, the crust could have been crispier for my taste. We would come back to Joe's.
Pretty good pizza, but.... Jo's is very generous with the quality toppings that they use. The upper half of the pizza does not disappoint.
The crust is mediocre. Not bad, but not exceptional. It is slightly crackery, but still has a decent feel.
Prices are high, which is more or less expected with such copious amounts of meat, cheese, etc.
Sadly, they do not serve any alcohol, so their pizza cannot be paired with a nice hoppy ale or glass of wine as a good pizza should be.
Overall, for me, I need better crust and beer to make a place a favorite, so I won't be going back. It may still be right for you.
Amazing!!! This place throughs every other place in edmond out of the question! If I chould choose any place to eat I would chose jos famous pizza! Im telling you right now you need to go try it! P.S. I would try the pepperoni pizza it has more peperoni than people in america!
DELICIOUS. They were very busy but we were seated right away. Wait staff was friendly. Had the sampler appetizer... I could eat their Rollers for every meal. Sinfully good. My pizza was delicious and piping hot. We'll be black as soon as possible. Definitely worth the drive to Edmond for.
Fresh Ingrediants. I'm a pizza snob. Well, I'm a food snob but I'm REALLY snobbish about pizza.
Jo's is decent. The crust doesn't cool or reheat well - it was a bit yeasty. The pizzas are large and you can always find an Edmond coupon for them to help with the price.
However, their ingredients are very fresh. The spinach, mushrooms, black olives - all that stuff tasted fantastic. It's not a heavily cheesy pizza so if you're wanting a nice greasy pie, Jo's is not what you want.
If you want Papa Murphy's without the take-and-bake, this is probably your closest bet.
Having read negative reviews, I was hesitant about trying Jo's. After months of working a mile down the street, I finally decided to give it a shot and I was pleasantly surprised! The service was fantastic, we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress got our complicated order correct and did it all with a smile and great attitude (we had lots of questions since it was our first visit). We both got the lunch special which includes a drink, a "small" salad, and a mini pizza. The salad was fantastic and quite large with cheese, ham, and olives on top. The pizza was small but loaded with fresh, high-quality toppings. I even got a to-go box and had the rest of my pizza for a snack later! Worth every penny of the $9.99 each. We will certainly be returning to Jo's soon.
GRRRREATT. Jo's was recommend and we were so glad it was. This place is unreal! It has a rustic vibe but its clean and very family friendly. They gave our kids dough balls to play with and their pizza came out quickly. We had the taco, canadian bacon, and the cowboy. Yeeeehaw was that good! The price was comparable to Hideaway but the pizza is WAY better. The ingredients were all fresh and their custom made crust is unreal good. Its must for anyone who eats pizza!

Place is good, they use really good ingredients. Lunch special is 10 bucks, seems pricey but worth it. I can't get enough of the salad, its amazing with blue cheese dressing. Check em.out!
Canadian bacon pizza is so delicious, well every pizza from Jo's is. Just wish it was less expensive.
Excellent Pizza and Staff. My family loves going to Jo's Pizza. The pizza, salad, and sandwiches are all great. The staff is friendly. This is a good place to go to lunch with a group, eating with family, or taking home.

We also had the Boomers for an app..jalapenos sliced in half layered with bacon and chz, decent.. Not hot enough for me because they scrape the seeds out, but tasty and pretty cheap. For $5 you get 8 halves = 4 japs. I guess if I had to pick a downside, they don't serve beer/alcohol, just Pepsi products @ 1.95. The two of us escaped outta there for under $27+tip, we had a coupon so check the website, thats where I got mine. We thought about comparing it to Humble Pie or Old Chicago, but you just can't...it is its own recipe and original. I just came back from Chicago, where I ate some of the best pizza ever, but couldn't compare it to that either. Both were good and had their own pros/cons

Excellent Takeout. We love Jo's! Their call in and take out is always super fast and their salads are great!! Huge salad (we get a small) for very little money. For a small salad and medium three topping pizza we can have dinner for under $20. People are friendly and nice every time we are there and always get our order correct.
Great service. Takes a while to get your pizza, but it's because everything is freshly prepared. The salad and garlic dressing are incredible.
Where's the sauce?. This pizza was very high quality, good crust and good ingredients. However if you like a lot of sauce (like I do) you will need to get some one the side. I requested extra sauce on the pizza and got it with little to no pizza sauce. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or if they use very little pizza sauce.
I will go back, but will remember to ask for extra sauce on the side.
LOVE!!!!!. I am from Norman so I grew up going to Purcell for Jo's Pizza when I moved to Edmond I only got down there a few times a year so I missed it. I am so glad they opened in Edmond now I can get my weekly fix. The owner is so nice and I always get great service, I do take out mostly but occasionally dine in. I wish they delivered and if they don't maybe 858-togo will start.

Best Pizza Around. Jo's Famous Pizza in Edmond has a great lunch deal. For $8.95 you get a huge salad with several varieties of lettuce and greens, olives, mushrooms, etc, and a 6" pizza of your choice. The crust on the pizza is great and you don't go away hungry from there. I'm looking forward to their new location opening at Hefner Rd and Rockwell Avenue where the old Pobalno's was.
Awesome Pizza!!!!. Incredible pizza and GREAT customer service. This is definately the place for pizza in Edmond. Nothing else even comes close. The pizza crust is amazing! Great staff that is very well trained in the moto the customer comes first. My kids ask to eat there at least once a week. Also one of the few resturants that plays christian music. I would highly recommend everyone to give it a try.
Love it but different. When I first drove up the outside looks like a high end steak house, log cabin look. Then on inside you order at the door, pay, serve your own drink and seat yourself, and then the staff is very quick to follow-up with refills and stuff. The interior follows the same upper (at least for pizza anyway) look but they serve you on card board cut. Overall I enjoyed it but it was so weird that the first time just feels strange. BUT THE PIZZA WAS GREAT!!

Pizza is good nothing bad to say about it . The owner comes out and talks to u which makes this a great place to bring buisness partners at lunch or a date in the evening to impress. Good job

Wonderful establishment. The pizza itself is not quite up to ar with Hideaway, but that shortcoming is overcome by other aspects. Izza is above average-I've gotten hooked on the Taco Pizza. The salads are incredible and ate not just scraps of iceburg. They are real salads. Also the ice is sonic-like. I have no complaints about the service at all. But the thing I love the most about this place us that you order, pay, then sit down to full service. I am not held hostage by the waitstaff when my toddler's ready to go b/c I paid first. All in all, it's a good place to take the family on a Friday night.
Good Pizza, Kinda High Prices.. I thought this pizza was going to be amazing, but sadly I was mistaken. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it wasn't good enough for the price and they didn't have enough water to fill my glass once. Hideaway, just a little further away from me, is better and a little cheaper for the pizza I order. There are no waiters and waitresses here, something I find as a con. I don't want to leave my food to get more drink or another napkin or anything. It was good to try once, but I've had better.
Great pizza at an expensive price! You do not get mch for your money but it is very good. They could get rid of the Christian music and start using reuseable glasses and pizza trays.
Tastey. One of the finest quality & tasting pizzas in Oklahoma. I'm from the NE part of the country and have eaten excellent pizzas in Pennsylvania, Virgina, Ohio and Illinois. Jo's pizza is the closests tasting pizza to home. Love it! The price is a little high though....with so many lower price competitors, I feel if Jo's were to consider offering coupons (or lowering prices just a bit) Jo's business would go through the roof ! This is indeed the Best pizza in Oklahoma!
Absolutely amazing! When they say custom pizzeria they really mean it. Jo's was able to do the exact pizza that we wanted and compared to most pizza places it was obvious their ingredients are fresh daily. Also very kid friendly with amazing atmosphere. We will have a hard time eating at any other pizza place from now on....excellent service too!!
Amazing. Everything is made from scratch everyday. I love the fact that the environment is so warm and friendly. The salads are the best in town hands down! With the owners always there, it really makes our experience that much better. They always take care of their mishaps and make sure the customer is first. What a great place to take your family and friends !!!!!!!! Oh yeah they also give a free meal to those that are in a wheel chair which is pretty nice.
Whoever said they don't like jo's has no taste buds. It is the best pizza and salad around. And the customer service is fantastic! And the kids get pizza dough to play with. They love it!!
AWESOME. I have ate a lot of pizza in my day and this is unreal good. Some say the decor is awkward but who cares. It's clearly a great joint. I like how they are different than other places buy serving on rounds and all paper products. At least i know its clean! The pizza is my favorite, the canadian bacon, luau, pepperoni and japs, etc. etc. etc. Just found out they have a ice bar now! Kids and I will love that! If your anyone who enjoys pizza, hit up Jo's but be careful on the weekends, they are packed!
Yummie. I was raised up on this fine pizza, every time i visit my mom in purcell i have to go get one. the best, the big chunks of meat they have on it. just delious
Good, but not the best,. This was a decent pizza place. The decor still looks like it was some other restaurant that is now a pizza joint. the antler chandelier did not go with the pie. The portions are large, a salad for 2-3 could easily feed 5. We had the rollers(ham & cheese rolled into dough and seasoned) to start, they were O.K.. they could have used a little more kick, kinda tasted like a hot pocket. The pizza was good, lots of topping choices. One nice thing is ALL the food is prepared daily in house, kind of a nice touch.
They have the best pizza around. I went there on the first day and all the waitress/ waiters were cheerful and fast of refilling the drinks. I give this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars!!
