Do you like Texas style BBQ? Deckle is the place for you! My wife and I have been waiting for a truly excellent BBQ place to open in Edmond so we tried Deckle Smokehouse BBQ this evening.
Andrew, the owner, was extremely friendly. He let us taste test several items. We enjoyed all the meats!
The Brisket has an excellent bark and was tender without being mush from being overcooked! The ribs were likewise perfectly smoked with fantastic flavor. My wife doesn't usually like sausage but she really enjoyed the German Sausage.
The fries on the side were cooked to the point of being crispy and crunch on the outside, tasty on the inside, lightly seasoned and simply excellent.
The apple coleslaw was crisp and bright. It served as a tremendous way to break up the different flavors of the meats and sauces.
Speaking of sauces, we tried three. The sweet was my favorite with spicy a close second. The regular was good, but I preferred the other two.
The restaurant is simple in its decor and setup (trays, butcher paper, plastic forks and knives, etc) so don't go expecting a fancy restaurant, just go expecting excellent Texas style BBQ.
Hands down the best BBQ you can eat! Nothing on the menu is bad, everything is great! The owner is the nicest guy ever, he let's you try meats before ordering. This place is a must have!
Loved the sausage, potato cheese bomb and famous beans. Brisket was really tender - melt in your mouth. Much better than standard bbq. Try it. You’ll be glad you did. �
Everything we tried was delicious! He gave us a sample of each and it was hard to make a decision. Definitely worth the trip and we will be back! Best burnt ends and brisket!

Great brisket. Good bark and lots of pepper. Complimentary beans were different, but really good.
Best meats, sides, and customer service we have ever had! He was even careful to let us sample each type of brisket (leaner, marbled, and the crispy exterior) and then ask us which we wanted and which we didn't want as part of our order. It's self-serve after you get your food - as all BBQ places are - yet he came to our table at least five times to see if we needed anything. All in all, we loved it and will definitely go back!

Some of the Best Texas Style BBQ around. If you are looking for mouthwatering brisket, amazing smoked German Sausage, melt in the mouth burnt ends, and some amazing sides. THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Andrew is a master behind the counter. All the ‘que is prepped in front of you!! Come try it!

The pulled pork the beans and the potato bombs were awesome! The owner was so nice, very clean!

The aroma upon entering is heavenly. We were greeted by a friendly staff and enjoyed the seating. I was blown away by the amazing food. Be prepared to take a nap in your car!

Everything was great. The beans, green beans and the brisket. It was juicy and quite tender. We tried the spicy sauce that is on the Turkey leg challenge. So spicy. Don't try it unless you like to burn!
This place is the bomb! Brisket was perfect. Bun was perfect. BBQ sauce is on point.
The staff is super friendly. Oh and the bathrooms are forever stocked and incredibly clean.
I cannot wait to come back here to eat.
Brisket so tender it melts in your mouth! They give you samples of anything you want to try which is super helpful if you’re indecisive! The beans are complimentary and delicious. We will absolutely return.

Stopped in yesterday, had never been there, was given a sample of the smoked beef brisket. It was delicious! My son and I asked if they had hot barbecue sauce, the gentleman said yes, offerd is a sample, and finally we found a fantastic hot barbecue sauce. He makes it himself. We bought a pound of the brisket, the beans were no charge and we got some of the sweet barbecue sauce along with some of that most wonderful hot barbecue sauce! Definitely going back.
Had the 1/2lb brisket Perfectly sliced from lean and fatty side. Pulled out fresh while we were there and cut on the spot. Sweet tater fries were well cooked and perfect portion. Beans were pretty tasty as well and went well with some of the fatty pieces of meat. Honey Ribs hit the spot and made me want more. Service and personalities were great too.
