After a lot of recommendations, I had a chance to try Torchys Tacos, and in my opinion it was not worth the hype. For a vegetarian like me, it was pretty easy to order when things are marked as 'v' in the menu. This place has got lot of tables, bar, and a patio seating options as well. The bar is well setup with TVs, and I saw people enjoying the college football game. Moving to the menu, I tried Avocado fries, and it was pretty blanched. Would have loved to have some spices added to it. I liked street corn though, and out of all the things I tried, Little Nookies were really great, and I would highly recommend having it after the meal.
We had our first ever experience at Torchy's tonight. The service was amazing, the food was amazing. The queso was to die for. I had the Naughty Santa and it is a smaller taco but it still filled me up. The manager was very interactive with his customers and informative on what was good. The server was also so polite. The best compliment by 8 year old gave tonight to the manager was that his beans and cheese was better than Taco Bells. We had a great experience and will be back.
Torchys will forever be my go-to girls meet up spot. The bartenders are friendly and attentive and they check on you throughout your time there. Tacos and the hillbilly queso are always fresh! This is my favorite so far: The Brushfire and the taco of the month, The Scaliwag! Please make this a permanent home on the menu!
Great tacos. I like how you buy each taco separately so you can pick different ones. 2 tacos is a good serving for most but good experience eaters might want 3/4 tacos. Beer and cocktails also sold 👌 🍺 🍸 🍹
This is a favorite and regular go to spot for us! The food is always delicious and consistent! The drinks are amazing! Dawn, the bartender, is AWESOME! I can't say enough good things about her. She is very attentive, friendly and knows how to make a great drink! We are always glad to see her behind the bar when we go in! They have an interim Manager right now, Gabe, and he's great! We watched him pitch in and help with anything and everything and he made sure the customers were happy!
Whoever is in the kitchen on 1/26/22 for lunch needs a raise. Food was amazing today! Amazing!
This is one of my favorite specialty taco places out there. The eclectic menu has many interesting options. Some spicy and some not. I recommend trying your selection "trashy" (gets rid of the lettuce and adds their signature queso).
Be brave. It may sound weird on the menu, but it's not there because it tastes bad.
Really great tacos, but so thankful they brought back the Tipsy Chick taco. The street corn is surprisingly awesome. The queso and salsa have a spicy kick compared with other local quick service taco shops, but it isn’t real hot. We love the Hillbilly Queso appetizer
