Had brunch with my family for my sisters birthday and the food was very good. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was cooked well it wasn’t dry. The gravy was great and the waffles were good too. Chicken fried steak was also order and the portion was huge. My daughter ordered the lobster Benedict I think and everyone was happy with their dishes. Will definitely return
10/10 went during brunch, and let me just say the freshly squeezed pineapple juice was perfection!
We also had their avocado toast for appetizer which was very flavorful. Service was wonderful and quick. The fried chicken and gravy covered biscuits were amazing! Haven’t had such a good Texan breakfast staple here in El Paso!

Restaurant is a trendy place, varied menu. Service little slow (probably short staffed), but servers were friendly. I ordered the posole. It was tasty, but more broth than substance. Very little meat and hominy. It was a large bowl, the bread was good. Other members of our party had the chliaquiles with egg. They were not the traditional El Paso chliaquiles, no sauce, just tortillas soaked to give them color. Do not order these. Others in the party ordered Chicken and waffles, rating, just OK. A little pricey. Nice touch, they had 4 separate restrooms. Nice ambiance.
Food is good though they're not delicately arranged on the plates, definitely worth a visit.
Ordered their Honey Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich, the mixture of honey, pecan, celery, raspberry, and chicken is a refreshment for your Saturday morning.
Will also recommend their Citrus Avacado Salad, with a little bit goat cheese on it, yummy 😋

I've lived near Block for over a year now and have always heard about how good it was but just never went. I'm glad I finally did!
Food: my friend and I split a Cuban and a pastrami sandwich and both had simple salads to go along with it. Both sandwiches had great flavor but j in believe the Pastrami won this battle over the best as the slaw and meat were just packed with flavors and worked really well with the salad.
We also had the jalapeño poppers wrapped in bacon for an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious.
Atmosphere: Very modern, elegant yet still laid back. The greenery near the front as well as the wooden tables really made for an awesome atmosphere along with what seems like a really great selection bar. The outside patio also seemed really great for spring time.
Price: $$ - between two people I spent about $42. Really good for a nice lunch or dinner date.
Overall, I highly recommend. Don't wait as long as I did to try it out. Planning to back here soon to try the dinner time to see what that's like.

Food is great! Crispy chicken. Tasty pulled pork breakfast tacos. Service could be improved, there's not a lot of management appearance. But the atmosphere is cozy.

This place has got some REALLY good food. Might be a bit on the pricey side if you start ordering the Ahi Tuna selections on the menu, but it's definitely not a budget buster by any means.
The staff were very attentive, especially with how busy the place was and the manager was visibly working to help his staff as well. I mention that because that's how you know a place has a well run crew, and it showed as the kitchen didn't skip a beat.
Come hungry, leave happy. This place is awesome and I'll definitely be back for more.
Pretty good food and drinks and good prices. Service was great. I was pretty impressed with the house vodka, but overall I think we were satisfied but not blown away by the meal. That said, I’ve been here before and ordered the flatbread which was fantastic. Great bar for drinks and food but not the cheapest around. 7-8/10 (depending on what you order)
Went for dinner recently and had a great time with some great tunes. Our server Bianca had some great recommendations for food and drinks and had some good knowledge on the menu. Great service and food! Only problem was the soup came out cold
The food and service are amazing! The French toast was the best we have ever had! And great empanadas…. We live in AZ and joked about coming again just for the food, might not be much of a joke… if ever in Texas we will be back!!!
For a bar and restaurant, it was much better than the name suggests! The drunken mussels were delicious, and the portion size was perfect. The brisket could have been a little juicier, but overall the flavor of the brisket tacos was excellent. The handcrafted cocktails were also very tasty. I would definitely come back!
Tried this place for the first time, cool atmosphere and good music playing. There are a lot of beers on tap and a big selection of food. I got the Chile Verde Benedict (pictured half eaten) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The wife got biscuits and gravy and ate it all before I could take a picture. Some useful information: the kitchen apparently is closed between 215-315 which I didn’t see on the website.. maybe it’s on there somewhere.
TLDR: good food, good atmosphere. I’ll be back.
I always drove by and never knew they had delicious food. I went in on a Friday around lunch time. I looked online first before I went and saw they had brunch. I was invested in their brunch menu. When I sat down and looked at their menu there wasn't any brunch, but they did have alot of options and I settled for their nachos. The brisket on the nachos was delicious and didn't taste like wedding brisket. It was still juicy and had a really good flavor. This plate you can share it between 2 to 3 people. I ended up taking a box of food home. I also got their chips and salsa which was funny since I got nachos, but their salsa was spicy and was flavorful. Their servers are nice and do constantly check in with you.
