The food was good and tasty! the atmosphere is what you come here for. They customer service is top notch and the feel inside the restaurant is intriguing and inviting. I have come here several times and have never been disappointed. The parking is rather scarce but the homeyness and food quality make up for any other inconsistencies. this is an El Paso staple restaurant that you must visit.
Really good, friendly staff and a great stop for lunch. Waitress's are happy to assist you in anything and are very gracious and accommodating
Spaghetti with Italian Sausage. This was so incredibly delectable. Had just wanted a little pasta before dancing. The sausage was in bite size chunks and sprinkled throughout. The marinara sauce is so good you will want to finish it off with a spoon.
Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable staff. Great food and ambiance. Fresh made bread, salad, and croutons. Lasagna is individually made, not from casserole, and the pizza is outstanding. Best Italian food in El Paso. Will definitely return.
I absolutely loved the food here. Compliments to the chef!
First of all, the service was excellent! Great waitress and friendly staff. The food was well priced and delicious overall. This is the first time my four year old ate everything on his plate. I will most certainley come back
Delicious food @ great$...chicken Angelo is a must & their pepperoni pizza, house salad withitalian dressing is perfect for lunch..call ahead for chicken takes 45min to fresh bake but worth it
Nice Place. I wouldn't say this food is Italian in any way. If there was ever a strain of Italian that came out of the kitchen, it's long gone. But, this is just one of the nicest places to eat, and has been for around 35 years. It's like stepping back into a 1960's or 1970's restaurant. The food and the prices haven't changed much. It's not swanky, but is home style food. Go for lunch, get a salad, pasta on the side, a main course, and a glass of wine, all tasty and good, for just over ten bucks. This is why they've been able to stay around forever.
Great Food!. I've visited this place for the past 15 years and the food continues to be delicious. Highly recommend it.
What italian should taste like. My dad has been coming here since the late 1960's and I grew up on Italian Kitchen. To this day they have wonderful food and service. A family owned business that truly appreciates it customers. Best lasagna and manicotti ever! Great beef and peppers also. Just good period!
My Favorite Restaurant. Before there was all of the good locally owned restaurants that now provide the awesome variety that exists... there was the Italian Kitchen. My first love when it comes to El Paso restaurants.
Absolutely delicious homemade italian food in the coziest little spot. Made freah, hot, and tasty. Everything was good down to the homemeade ranch dressing. Service was subpar and sadly made the meal stressful. Ran out of our beverage before our main course was served and didn't receive refills until after our meal was complete. Young waitress passed our table several times and never stopped to ask how we were. When we did ask for something, after fianlly getting her attention, we received attitude. Wouldn't let this alter your decision to enjoy a meal there though. So good!!
So good!! Very good food and excellent staff!! We had a great time and a great lunch🎉
You won’t REGRET it!! Super delicious!
The taste was authentic, meals were very well served. It was my first and definitely not my last!
My spouse and I each received huge bowl of salad, Chicken Parmigiana, and a side of Spaghetti and complemented with delicious lemonade! $40!! 😱 Def a great price. Staff was very warmly friendly.
The Italian Kitchen is one of those iconic establishments that you must try for authentic Italian cuisine. Nestled deep in the Five Points Area, it's a place you should go to get a hearty, wholesome meal. The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy, but it is a warm and inviting place. I used to love coming here in the past, but parking was really difficult and was sad if I could not eat here. I am grateful that they fixed the parking situation and was able to eat here once again. I went for their classic Meatball Spaghetti with the meat sauce. I also opted for their House Italian salad that accompanies this meal. All in all, it was delicious faire and I recommend you come and try it out before hitting up a run of the mill Italian restaurant where you can go to any city and eat there. I strongly suggest that you go during an off hour so that you will be taken care of by the amazing staff!
I'll give this 5 stats because of how quirky it was. Tiny restaurant that was obviously once a house.kitxhwn is smaller than most apartment kitchens, but they produce a lot of fairly good Italian food. Service was quick and friendly. It was also nice that there was no wait even on Black Friday!
I really enjoyed the place, It feels like a home kitchen rather than a restaurant. Only would enjoy it if it was a soda fountain instead of bottled everything (soda, water, beer) definitely will be going back.
Great Italian food and the prices are reasonable. We ordered the shrimp Alfredo and the green chile chicken lasagna and both were really delicious; the portion size for the shrimp Alfredo was huge which we ended up taking it home as leftovers. Would go again for those dishes as well as something else on the menu.
A quaint and cozy little restaurant. Good food and fine customer service.
This place was unexpectedly phenomenal!! I'm actually bummed that we didn't find this place sooner.
They are allowing dine in at a limited capacity and masks are REQUIRED.
It's small, operating in a house but converted into a very cozy restaurant and is certainly a hidden gem here in El Paso. A bit hidden between residences, the vibrant sign leads the way into the main entrance; almost directly across the street from The Dollar Tree.
As soon as you walk in, the aroma just envelops your senses so if you didn't come in hungry- you definitely will be almost as soon as you close the door behind you.
The food is superb! I had the lasagna (which is baked fresh in a portion size of your choice), my son had the spaghetti and my husband had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo... all three of us had delicious leftovers. The garlic bread is excellent, as is the mozzarella sticks paired with an exceptionally fresh marinara. Honestly it might be the best marinara we have ever had. We each had a refreshing iced tea with our dinner, the waitresses in the restaurant made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit.
It reminds me of a smaller, homestyled version of Olive Garden but the choice between the two; without question will now always be The Italian Kitchen. Much more reasonable in price as well. Everything we ordered came out to under $50 total, whereas at Olive Garden similar plates would be well over $75 or $80. They also offer military discounts to those in active duty uniform. I'd give it ten stars if I could and we will definitely be back. I didn't take great photos but I'll include what I got to give an idea of what to expect.
Amazing food. Chicken Alfredo and burger were delicious. Will definitely come again. Very good hole in the wall restaurant.
Tina found this quant little ol Italian restaurant for us to eat at tonight. They said it's been in business for 73 years by the same family. The sauce was good. Tina had the Eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti meat sauce. I had the lasagna of course. We both got ministroni soup and a real nice salad. The spumoni ice cream we topped it off with was great! Of course I had to have a Stella Artois! Was a great place!
First time here, Great food and great service at reasonable price. Nice hefty portions. Real Home Made taste and atmosphere. Does get pretty busy though.
