It has changed. My go to is always a veal parm with ravioli and a bar pie. It use to be the best but, thing change. After trying the same items for three separate visits I have come to this conclusion. The veal parm is over fried and when adding the sauce and mozzarella in the broiler it melts the cheese but burns the veal. The saving grace is the cheese ravioli. The dough is lite. Almost paper thin which makes it a winner. As for the bar pie. It's good with a touch of oil, cheese and seasoning but, the dough was chewy and not thin the way I remember it. The same waitresses are there but a little slower. It's been here since 1932. Everything is the same since 1932 nothing has changed. Cash only. Very hard to find parking on the street. Better than a pizza parlor or chain. I wish they sold the ravioli.

Best ravioli, pizza and chicken parmesan. Bring cash as they don't accept credit cards. You will love it

If I'm ever on death row, my last meal is from Spiritos. Plain pie medium/well, veal parm rav and a garlic salad.

Best Ravioli in an old school dining room that remains unchanged since forever. Fresh bread but no butter- that’s ok. It the Spiririto’s way. I just sprinkle grated cheese on it. Cash only in an antique register. Reasonable prices. My husband loved his first time there. I was going since early childhood. I’m in my 50s now.

Old School Italian restaurant ...trying to survive the pandemic and it's worth a trip. They have reduced the hours of operation- 3pm to 8pm most days. They lost a couple of dishes that they can't source like veal...and their bread. But if you are a fan and get to try it your likely to be very happy with your dinner. We had a takeout order of Ravioli and Salad for Mother's day. It was delicious 😋

Best Italian food in all of the east coast. Old school ambiance and operation i.e Cash only, no butter, no coffee, no dessert. Pizza and Raviolis are the best things on the menu.

This was quite the experience being from out of town. We showed up on a cold rainy night, walked in and instantly felt like outsiders but still family at the same time. Don't bring credit cards, don't expect dessert or coffee. Order a bottle of wine and a big lasagne with sausage like this and you'll sleep well tonight.
