We use Sage Mill at our events and have been nothing but thrilled every time.
Their Boxed Lunches are perfect for meetings and Platters are great for luncheons.
Their daily options are excellent as well! (I am eating the chili and cornbread as I type!) I love the paninis and salads.
Great reworking of a previously successful small restaurant space a bit off the beaten path. The owner also has a successful downtown Sacramento restaurant. This newer location (open about 9 months at the time of this review) has a small, but good menu full of sandwiches and salads. Everything is made from scratch with care that shines through. My table enjoyed a meatloaf sandwich and a turkey sandwich. Each arrived with home made pickles and home made chips. Nothing fancy, but very tasty and reasonably priced. We also enjoyed the strong iced tea with our lunch. The location also has a liquor license they use to provide a few choices for those who prefer beer or other beverages. Great spot for lunch or a casual dinner. Outside dining is also available. Counter service, but they bring it to your table and check on you.
