Writing this review as I'm barely able to breath because I ate way too much food. It's too delicious. My wife and I loved the atmosphere on the top floor it was quiet and a a bit dark (I loved that it felt secluded). The owner is super nice and really welcoming. Everyone at the restaurant should be proud of it and what they have accomplished, especially with the fact that they hire many refugees.
We will be back soon thank you for having us.
Syriana is one of our favorite places and visit it whenever we are on the Main Street of EC…the food portions are huge and the ambience is fantastic. They have some board games to play on the top floor including some items for sale. This time I was disappointed because I found a strand of hair in the tabouleh salad but the rest of the food-chicken shawarma and the pita sampler was good. I don’t know if they still have the live music in the evenings/weekends. Overall a nice place.
Great vibe! Small spaces = coziness. Wanted to try something different. The food was delicious. Traditional Mediterranean style dishes. Got the ultimate platter. (Forgot to take a picture) I'm not really a coffee drinker, so, if I was going to a place that specializes in coffee I wanted something out of the norm. I was pleasantly surprised. Cardamom is delicious in coffee! I got a latte. Didn't even need to add sugar 😃. Recommend!
This place is an absolute gem!
We had the appetizer platter, chicken shawarma wrap and desserts. It was all delicious and filling. They’re staff were helpful with explaining menu items to first timers and the atmosphere was so charming. My mother and I had a great lunch. Can’t wait to come again.
Favorite place in historic Ellicott city. This place is a three floor Syrian café with amazing atmosphere and great café foods and drinks. There is outdoor seating on the street and balcony. There is limited street parking directly out front but can easily be walked to from the parking lot at the end of the historic district street
Visited this cafe with my daughter. We got the chicken shawarma and fatouch salad. Both were delicious. We dined at the second floor heated outdoor seating. I definitely recommend trying them out.
Down a street full of cafes this one stands out as exceptional. The food is authentic and delicious as well as having some of the best coffee and tea on the block. If you like strong black coffee I'd recommend the Turkish coffee.
Full experience was amazing, the ambiance was great as well. But the food and the service top quality. Our Server was so nice and accommodating. I will be going back. My new favorite spot.
In the pictures I got the: Baklawa, Kenafa, and the Mixed Grilled Platter with Rice and Fatouch.
