The restaurant shares the building with a few other businesses, none of which were open. The building overall was well lit, warm & clean.
We had been on the road awhile, getting something to eat was becoming a necessity, so we pulled into the next rest stop.
We were expecting to settle for cold, pre-packaged sandwiches from a convenience store, so we very happy to find the Roy Rogers was open at all. They exceeded our (admittedly low) expectations.
The eat-in space was well maintained, clean & stocked.
The workers were very friendly, considerate & efficient, delivering our order quickly and correctly. The food was priced well and was good quality.
After our short break, we continued on our road trip, considerably more content than when we had arrived.
We love Roy Roger's roast beef sandwiches, and these were delicious. We always stop here whenever we use the turnpike. The beef was a little more done than we prefer, but still tasty. We like it better on the rare and pink side. It was very clean, and super quick. It's in a rest stop, so you can also get Starbucks, lottery tickets and gas.
