It's been years since I started secretly comparing every BLAT (BLT with avocado) I get to Bucci's BLAT panini, and so far, theirs still takes the crown. This, by the way, includes some of the best delis and sandwich shops in a number of cities, including some with hot-shot chefs at the helm (which as a rule tend to be overrated). It's just the perfect bread, the perfect ratio of bread to filling, and high quality fresh ingredients. True, it's not a dish hard to make, but it's the attention to detail that shows through. You'd be surprised how many places turn out a disappointing BLT.
Far from a one-hit wonder though, Bucci's offers other lunch options too. Particularly worth mentioning is their chicken enchilada special. Service is friendly, especially if you're addicted enough to become a regular, which, if you frequent the neighborhood, is kind of hard to avoid.

Cabucci's is a little bit of everything; Good all-around place to eat. Yummy ever-changing breakfast specials: your standard bagel sandwiches, fresh squeezed (while you wait) OJ, decent coffee line-up and pastries.
A diverse lunch menu, consisting of all sorts of zuppa, insalate, panini, pizze, and platters.
If you order in advance they can make you bag lunches, delivery service, pastas, etc!
These people are sweethearts, and make an effort to be friendly as well providing good respectful service. They have beer and wine along with your standard american and Italian sodas, smoothies, and ice cream shakes. They even sell coffee by the pound and gift certificates.
There's a good amount of counter seating, tables inside and out of the restaurant -- but I love sitting at the big stone tables in the atrium -- since it's still technically inside the building you're protected from the elements, and people bring your food out to you. Such a treat!
