I will never buy canned tuna again! Cold Harbor's tuna salad is absolutely the best I've ever eaten. This shop is spotless, friendly, and carries gorgeous fresh seafood you won't find anywhere else in this area. Their to go prepared corned beef dinner was delicious, and we can't wait to try the seafood platter. My new favorite shop.
Recently had the dry scallops. Sauteed in hot pan with a little butter. They were soooo good! Excellent!!! Highly recommend.
I went there on Thursday, June 28, and got the lobster roll - I returned on Friday, June 29, to get 2 more - the best lobster roll I have ever had!

I can not say enough good things about this place. Best lobster rolls ever. Great fresh seafood. Cooked fresh salmon for 20, steamed and cedar planked...divine, nothing left.
There's no better place to go for the freshest fish and no better fishmongers than Joe and Mark. Joe's a terrific cook who continues to create new and interesting dishes. Cold Harbor is a lot more than fish but it's also a lot of great fish. Love this place and these folks.
I felt like a kid in a candy store, except with fish. I wanted it all! The fish is fresh and nicely displayed. And the shrimp/cilantro/lime dish in the refrigerator is yummy! It would be nice if there were some picnic tables outside, but regardless I'll go back.
Stopped by today for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. We got fish tacos and they were ready in under 5 minutes and one of the best we've ever had. Very friendly too. Can't wait to go back!
Stopped in for the first time today. Tried the lobster roll, fish tacos and shrimp salad...DELICIOUS! The fish tacos are crave worthy! This place is cozy and everything is displayed in an appealing way. Nice folks and great service. Will definitely be back.
I'm excited to say that today was my first visit of many more to come! Cold Harbor is a lovely little; busy place, very clean & orderly. The people running this wonderful fish market are extremely friendly, knowledgeable on seafood & cooking instructions if needed. It won't be long & I'll be a familiar face there since I drive by weekly. Worth a trip from anywhere!
My husband, former Maine lobsterman- CT transport, was quoted as saying “this lobster is as good as what I get off the boat in Maine”. Everything we got (lobster, haddock, scallops) were amazing! Highly recommend!
Amazing food. Amazing customer service. I just wanted one last Lobster Roll from the best before I leave Connecticut and wasn’t sure if i would make the 6pm close. Called the owners & left a message and walked in the door right at 6 and they had my dinner ready. Great food great conversation great people

Yesterday a review for Cold Harbor with my name showed up with a rating of one. I don't know how that happened but nothing could be further from the truth. I discovered Cold Harbor a couple of months ago and have been a customer ever since. Everything here is top notch - from the friendly and knowledgeable people who run the store, the cleanliness, the high quality and freshness of their products, to the delicious food at affordable prices. The whole lobster dinners on Fridays (you have to call ahead) with a baked potato and an ear of corn already cooked and ready to go at the time you specify for $9.95 plus tax is an exceptional value to start off your weekend. You have to call before Friday because they sell out. You don't have to go to the shoreline for delicious fresh seafood. It's right here in our neighborhood. You have to give it a try. You won't be sorry.

Purchased shrimp, scallops and clams last week for Christmas Eve. Everything was delicious and the cocktail sauce was just spicy enough. My favorite place for seafood. Happy New Year everyone!

First and foremost, amazing people. The seafood was out-of-this-world fresh! The owners also gave us great advice on the best way to cook it all.

Just stopped in for the first time. Got a great tour of all the offerings and left with a couple hot buttered lobster rolls. Thought we knew good lobster. We were wrong. Cold Harbor's lobster rolls were amazing. Tender and flavorful not to mention very reasonable. Can't wait to go back. Gotta try the fish tacos and shrimp tacos.
My boyfriend and I stopped in here for the first time on Saturday and were sorry we hadn't found this place sooner! However, we can't wait to go back! The customer service was outstanding, the fish was the most beautiful I've seen in CT (and that's no small statement coming from an Alaskan born and raised), and the store was sparkly clean! A small, seafood shop full of the most helpful, knowledgeable employees and the freshest seafood you can find. Forget the grocery store fish counters, support local guys like these instead!

I had the opportunity to try the offerings at Cold Harbor Seafood & Market today. A stop for lunch, take out order. I ordered the Captain Fish Sandwich and day's fish option was Flounder. It also came with a bag of chips and a small bottle of water.
The place is quite small as it can only accommodate six customers in the building at a time. This is definitely a takeout establishment. The inside is populated with coolers, shelving and the kitchen, along with the cash register. The coolers are stocked with fresh fish, prepared fish offerings like chowder, shrimp, salads, etc.
The menu is small but looks very appetizing. Once I ordered and paid, I was asked to step outside to keep the customer count at six or less. Okay. There is a tiny speaker attached to the door that when your order is ready a voice comes across the speaker calling your name. You walk back in and grab your order. I picked up my order, heard the words "Thank you" nice touch. Off I went for my drive home.
When I sat down to eat my Captain Fish Sandwich I expected a nice thick piece of deep fried Flounder covered with slaw and tomato. The Flounder was very thin and covered with an abundance of breadcrumbs. The slaw and tomato played well with the fish. The bread roll was large and soft, not much taste to it. The price of the sandwich was customary for today's restaurant costs.
Personally, I was disappointed with the amount of fish on the sandwich.
I would recommend giving them a try if you're in the area. Enjoy.
Cold Harbor seafood is amazingly fresh and delightfully delicious. The Cajun shrimp tacos, lobster roll and shrimp cocktail never seem to disappoint. Picked up a loaf of garlic bread to bake at home as well and that didn't let me down.
This is the best place ever. The lunch menu is amazing. The Tacos, sandwiches, and especially the lobster rolls are all five stars. I have spent many summers in the Hamptons and traveled all over new England and have not had anything as good as this. The shrimp cocktail and crab cakes from their prepared foods are delicious. I won't post my photos because it doesn't do it justice. Only professional photography is good enough for this place. And today I tried the tiramisu they have prepared to go... Five kisses!!!!
Went for the first time today after seeing all the reviews, and they couldn't be more spot on. Friendly, efficient staff (they were slammed and still killin it), and probably the best and freshest seafood I've ever had. Easily the best scallops. Will be back many many times.
Cold Harbor is by far my favorite fish market ever! The staff are so helpful and the food is so good! On 4 occasions we’ve walked in and bought sushi grade fish and made homemade sushi with the family! Also the lobster rolls are excellent. Highly recommend anyone who is from the area or someone passing through!
Better than a harborside fresh off the boat.
Having just paid $35.00 for a lobster roll in Maine, I declared right there in the harbor that a Cold Harbor lobster roll was 10x’s better. Fresher, more tender, perfectly satisfying the lobster roll Jones! Nothing can beat Cold Harbor’s food, it IS the BEST!!!
Best seafood in western mass. It's not a restaurant but you can get prepared foods. The quality of the fresh fish is better than anywhere else in the area.
I love this place! You can tell they truly care about their customers. I never write reviews but they deserve it. The fish tacos are soo good! And so are the lobster rolls. The prices are good too! I was able to get fresh, sushi grade tuna for a great price. They are all so friendly and knowledgeable too. I highly highly recommend this place.
