We're from Michigan and have had plenty of Upper Peninsula pasties over the years. I can honestly say that the Englewood Pasty Shop is as authentic as anything served in Michigan. Hard to believe, but it's true! It's not really a restaurant, but there are a couple of small tables. It's primarily pick-up. They offer several varieties, but beef is the best. Store has the charm of an actual Upper Peninsula road-side store.

I am a huge person of tradition and I have to say since I moved to Florida I have been missing that traditional Cornish pasty taste. Pam was so amazing she gave me back what I've been missing for the last 10 years and gave me a good taste of home so I thank her very much for being open and I appreciate her pricing and the quality of the food was incredible.

It’s pronounced passs treee not pastry. These meat pie come from the miners in England. It was a great find! I also had a piece of the lemon bar is was fresh and tasty.

I really enjoyed their chicken cordon bleu pasty. It was the perfect size and felt so comforting to eat. The shop itself is a bit small but the owner is very friendly. It's also close to my job so I plan to stop there again for lunch

It's sad that so few understand the Pasty - a meal neatly packaged inside a delicious crust. Not easy to find where I live but plentiful in Michigan’s UP so finding them in Florida is remarkable. Take them home frozen, eat one (or two) inside at a table or take some home for dinner. Don't miss it!

Small but excellent! Hadn't had a patsy in many years but, the one I had was perfect! Texture and taste was so good! To me, this was easy to give stars. The lady in charge was perfect. Efficiency, charm and personality! A bright spot in my day!

They are the best. They taste just like the pasties in ironwood Michigan. Top shelf.

Love this place. Locals eat here. Pam has different pasties chicken, beef, steak made fresh daily with or without gravy on the side. Plus at least 2 -3 different soups. Corn bread etc and some frozen stuff. It's all yummy. Before Covid you could eat in. Right now just take out. That's good too. Get your food and head out to Indian mound or bay heights park. Say hi to Pasty Pam from English Jan.

A small charming restaurant! The owner is the best! When I stopped in today (not my first time) for lunch I had the veggie pasty and it is to die for! Lobster Bisque was on today’s menu as well. There are also desserts. Everything is so fresh....I enjoyed the photos of English countryside scenery that adorns the walls. Meat pastys are also available and just as good.

Out of my way, but wanted to try it. Bought chicken, steak and chorizo. Good flavor. Weigh about a pound each. Only take cash or check, so go prepared. Carry other varieties of pasties too-- frozen. Have soups and baked goods fir purchase as well.

Wonderful food! Had the vegetarian pasty today and the Lobster Bisque. Very, very good. My stomach is still smiling. I can't get to thisplace as often as I would like, but when I can get there, I thoroughly enjoy it.

I had the chicken pasty for 1st time. Ordered outside due to COVID-19, which came in a warm heated bag to take home. It was amazing. Delicious. Almost like pot pie .

Drove 2 hours just to see if this pasty shop would remind me of the U.P. And boy did it ever! Tasted just like what i was missing so much. If you"re looking for that U.P. pasty taste, don"t hesitate. Even bought extra to bring home.
