Firehouse Subs is an elite sandwich shop. Yes, it may cost more than one of their competitors... but the quality is outstanding and well worth it. The staff here is wonderful, and I can say I've never had a bad sandwich here.
My personal favorite is the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket. The beef brisket is incredible and melts in your mouth. I would also recommend the Firehouse Meatball sub. The meatballs are really good, not like you get at other sandwich shops.
Firehouse Subs also has a Rewards program where you earn upgrades, free food and more.

Warm toasty sandwiches are always good and being able to support fore fighters at the same time is a bonus. My favorite is the Italian sub. For anyone craving southern sweet tea definitely come here. The tea is exactly what I miss from TN. The staff is friendly and constantly cleaning, stocking and keeping busy. If I had one complaint it would be they keep the A/C on pretty low so bring a sweater.
Have only eaten there a couple of times. When I happen to be in Escondido. First time was a really good sandwich .
Went today and they have what they call a pastrami Reuben. Pastrami, coleslaw, cheese..
Was so dang delicious, I am going back in a few days . It was on a placard ,not on main menu.
Everybody, go eat this sandwich so it becomes part of regular menu!
Sandwiches are great and the people that work there are very polite. The place seems clean. My only complaint is that they only have 1 register open when there's a long line. The person, that I assume is the manager, stood there directing everyone. As a former manager, so I speak from experience, she should be hands on when the line is out the door and the place is packed. Open the 2nd register, make sandwiches, clean... you are right there and you can see everything that's going on. Do something instead of micromanaging
I think Firehouse is now my favorite sub sandwich chain. Lots of delicious options to choose from including 3 different sizes. All of the typical types of sandwiches which also come with a dill pickle spear. They also have the soda machine that let's you mix your own combinations which is nice. Prices aren't as low as Subway but I think the sandwiches are better quality.
The brisket melts in your mouth. Smokehouse brisket is still phenomenal!
May 2018 they have a crazy good sandwich (limited time only) they are calling a Ruben, no sauerkraut they use coleslaw. Quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever eaten.
If you like subs, great!! Once in awhile when going to Barnes and Noble, we will stop here. Prices are more than reasonable. The food is top notch. I myself prefer Firehouse over the other chains after eating there for the first time a few weeks ago.
